Before dawn the witness walked from a parking lot toward the frozen lake to photograph the sunrise. He heard three deliberate wood-on-wood knocks to the north, followed immediately by a bottle-on-metal clattering sound from a closer area to the south. He saw no people or animals, took no photograph, and left the area quickly feeling compelled to leave.

While deer hunting in late afternoon the witness heard yipping followed by whooping, yelling and loud approaching bipedal footsteps. A large dark hair-covered biped emerged from a draw about seventy yards away, walked past at an angle, then turned upslope into brush and out of view. The figure was reportedly visible for about two minutes with travel sounds heard briefly afterward, and the site was revisited the next morning for a height comparison.

Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

He estimated it at about 8 feet tall and as wide as his steps, with long arms and no visible neck or facial features. He turned to grab a camera but the figure was gone when he looked back, and he saw nothing when he opened the door and turned on the porch light. Shortly afterward he heard repeated deep rumbling sounds described as like thunder from inside the house.

The witness was riding a four-wheeler on private property to handle trail cameras near dusk. After topping a ridge and shutting off the vehicle, the witness saw a tall hairy biped about 30 feet away running away and knocking over a small tree. The witness heard crashing sounds during the flight and noticed a faint musky smell afterward.

Two hunters sat in a blind when the woods went quiet and they heard crashing, bipedal footsteps, a loud crash and a deep howl. After waiting until dark, they left and walked toward their boat. When one turned around he saw eye shine several feet off the ground behind them, which then turned away.

Two people were canoeing at night when a rock landed very close to them in the water though the distant shore appeared desolate. A short time later their canoe became grounded in a shallow channel between lakes and they heard a loud strange animal-like noise for about ten minutes that stayed just beyond flashlight range while surrounding wildlife went quiet. They freed the canoe and returned to the car for the night.

While the group sat on a hilltop in darkness, the witness heard bipedal footsteps approach from below, first one then two, trying to sound like deer. He fired a rifle into the air, then heard a garbled unintelligible vocalization as the sources moved quickly downhill. He woke the next morning with headache and nausea and left the property.

The witness, who could barely walk after knee surgery, was driven to the far end of a large family hunting property before dawn. The guest took his two young sons camping in a steep Colorado canyon to practice survival skills. During the night they heard a loud scream from across the canyon that approached their camp within a minute. For hours something circled them just beyond firelight, snapping large branches, making heavy thuds, and later mumbling, whistling and throwing sticks. The guest kept a large fire and shotgun through the night until morning.

The witness and his brother-in-law sat in a clearing playing coyote calls at dusk. A rock flew past the witness's head and landed by his foot. As they walked back to the truck, they heard crunching footsteps pacing them, which stopped when they stopped.

Late at night the woods went silent and heavy bipedal footsteps approached the tent, then a very large hand pushed the tent wall inward. After the friend's father mumbled in his sleep the hand withdrew, and the visitor rummaged through a cooler on the picnic table before walking into the lake and swimming away. In the morning the cooler had been moved, items were strewn, and an oily feel and stale smell were noticed.

The witness was with family members in an upper field checking pumpkin and watermelon crops that had been found split open. While the group was talking, they heard a tree fall despite dry ground and no wind. The witness jokingly suggested Bigfoot knocked it over, which others laughed off.
