Two people walking toward Miner's Falls heard repeated wood-on-wood banging for about a minute. They saw a large limb held straight out and striking back and forth between two close-set trees about 20 feet away. One witness glimpsed a dark unidentified shape believed to be part of a dark arm that seemed to rise from leaning over before the noise stopped and moved away behind the trees.

Two companions were bowhunting from separate tree stands about 200 yards apart in the evening. They heard several short angry human-like screams lasting about a minute that each thought came from the other's direction, suggesting the source was between them. A deer left shortly before and the previously noisy woods became silent for the rest of the evening. Neither saw the source and neither knew what made the sound.

The witness and a companion were hunting raccoons at night with a hound that first treed a raccoon then pursued another animal through forest. After the dog returned frightened and stayed close, the pair tried to walk out in darkness with failing lights. For an hour or two they heard something large circling them with heavy footfalls and crashing vegetation and small trees breaking nearby, but they never saw the source.

Around 1 a.m. the group heard a very loud, low-pitched scream lasting one to two seconds from some distance away. The group was startled but dismissed it at the time; the witness later associated the sound with reported Sasquatch screams heard online.

The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.

In October 2004 the witness was bow hunting from a stand when gibberish-like vocal sounds and running were heard in the pines. A doe ran in front of the stand staring north, then a short huh sound, silence, deep sniffing and slow deliberate movement with snapping twigs circled to the northeast and east as the doe fled. Two people stopped to rest while mountain biking on a wooded trail when they heard a very loud, low growl-like sound from a distance that could be felt as well as heard. The sound repeated a couple minutes later at about the same distance, but nothing was ever seen. They joked about it being Bigfoot but could not explain it.

Nearly two decades earlier, the witness was rowing back to a rocky campsite at the end of the lake near a creek at dusk with his dog after fishing for trout. The dog alerted toward shore, and the witness watched several small trees bend down in succession as if pulled from the top and snap back, progressing toward the campsite with no heavy footsteps but a low humming vibration that was felt more than heard. He rowed in to check, found no tracks, broken brush, or animal, only two old swan carcasses nearby, and spent a quiet night.

Two siblings camped in a remote forest clearing and heard movement, a log being turned, then three extremely loud long screams from about 100 yards away. They hid in their tent, and in the middle of the night the witness heard unintelligible deep speech-like talking very close outside. In the morning they found large barefoot prints behind a bush and later found their tent flipped over when they returned.

The witness and a companion were driving out of a driveway around 2:30 a.m. when an extremely tall grayish figure ran across the road in front of their vehicle, paused briefly, then ran away. Both occupants reported seeing it and they left quickly because they were frightened. The witness also thought a grunting sound was heard but was unsure whether it came from the vehicle.
