He heard bipedal-like footfalls that stopped when he stopped and then seemed to come closer. He ran to nearby rocks, climbed up to rest, and watched the treeline for something to emerge, but nothing appeared.

At ten at night the witness remote-viewed a forested area miles away and perceived a shape he took for a forest person, which turned to stare at him and seemed angry at the intrusion. The next night around one a.m. he heard a faint high screech like burnouts or rusty wheels approaching. It rose overhead then dropped into a huge roar felt through his chest and head, forcing him to crouch, then fell dead silent, which he took as a retaliatory visit following his psychic trail.

A being came straight through dense four-inch-thick trees toward the witness from about forty feet, making noise so he knew it approached, stopping just beyond arm's reach in a predator-like cloaked form like scrunched cellophane with distorted background. When the witness corrected himself from bigfoot to forest people, the pixelation rose to the knee revealing long reddish-brown ankle hair and a big flat foot with black toenails that slid silently on wet clay. It then withdrew without sound and the witness calls it a sentry that stays in that spot.

The witness hiked a remote forestry road repeatedly and felt persistently watched, as if a hand was on his shoulder. He heard rustling following him and thought it was a bear. When he touched his chest-carried pistol, he felt a focused telepathic rebuke, and on a later hike received unbidden thoughts about crossing points and an ambush spot and looked up higher than eye level.

Next day they estimated eye heights at nine and a half and about eight feet due to slope.

The guest took his twelve-year-old sons to a hillside west of the house to hunt bucks. After standing quietly two minutes they heard an extremely loud crack like a large log smacked against a big tree. They left, returned two or three days later, and heard a single identical loud crack again.

The guest and a cousin were in an alpine meadow about three hundred yards from a sasquatch that was downwind. The animal stopped, looked at them, then walked directly toward them without arm movement. The guest fired a shotgun into the air, after which it stopped, screamed, and walked up the mountainside.
