During a dangerous thunderstorm the guest was alone in a cabin while others were in tents. She heard what sounded like footsteps circling the cabin. Then something slammed into the back of a nearby SUV so hard the roof rack rattled, loud enough to bring one person out of a tent.

Footsteps near Arch Cape, Oregon
The guest was alone upstairs working on schoolwork on a spring day when a loud commotion approached from the forest east of the house. Something crashed through the tree line and ran across the lower cedar deck with heavy, slapping footfalls that did not sound human. The guest ran to a window overlooking the deck but the source was already gone.
