That afternoon a camper standing by vehicles was struck in the back by a Vidalia-sized onion thrown from the woods, leaving a big red welt. Two men ran into the woods and heard two individuals running away without visual. Same night included scratching on a trailer and urinating near another tent.

On another occasion the witness heard a woo-like noise on exiting the car, and later another boulder rolled down about two hundred yards away. The witness noted coincidence was possible.

The witness sat on a trailside rock and heard what sounded like several women talking, but only one woman with a dog and radio passed. The dog acted panicky and stared up the trail. Later the witness heard a loud wet slappy sound like a goose taking off or a large dog shaking, with no bird or dog present to explain it.

The witness and cousin parked at night when the radio power cut out and it went pitch black. They heard footsteps in front of the car across a creek, then an extremely loud tree break. After they screamed, something about ten feet away gave a deep rumbling growl, and they fled in the car.

At the same moment his young child ran in saying someone outside her window was making a gurgling zombie-like vocalization as a prank. The next morning he found two sets of impressions around the house and one clear track in sand.

Shortly after moving into a larger rental house with family visiting, the witness and his wife were awakened around 2am by a sharp whistle at the window and crunching footsteps moving away. Visiting parents in another bedroom reported banging on the air-conditioning unit at the same time. Next morning they found long flattened grass impressions leading to both windows, a smooth stone by the unit, and a large forearm smear on a glass sunroom door near trash.

Attendees reported hearing movement around cars, finding handprints and a moved tarp, nausea, and an unusual recorded gagging or regurgitating sound near the outhouses.

Arriving early alone for the Iowa expedition, the guest slept in a tent and awoke seeing stars with breathing and sniffing about a foot from the head, leaf movement and the cot shaking twice. It took about twenty minutes to recover enough to call out, and later bruises and a mild shoulder ligament tear were found, which the guest linked to prior similar tent incidents attributed to possible infrasound.

The guest led a team that nearly walked into an individual at eight to ten feet on arrival, with both fleeing in opposite directions and leaving a kicked fire ring and partial print. Later that night from the picnic table the group saw up to six sets of eye shine across a dry wash, heard whispers and giggling, felt flanked, and the guest used an air horn and strobe when heavy thuds and eye shine closed to about twenty feet in a possible bluff charge before packing up around one thirty.

During the spring return to the South Carolina site, a stealth team exchanging tree knocks and whoops had two members hit by an intense physical reaction described like hitting a wall, with muscle tightening, headache and sweating, forcing withdrawal. Later that night around one in the morning the attendee was followed back to base camp where movement around the tent was reported and responders saw a dark silhouette running away.

During the first November expedition at the South Carolina site, a field team was surrounded for about twenty minutes by at least six individuals. The team reported yelling from different directions, thrown projectiles hitting a building, knocking and foot stomping.
