Three people went to a pond area at night in the rain where they had been told not to go. They heard two distinct knocks, then a large splash and ripples in the middle of the pond as if a sizable rock had been thrown. Knocks intensified and after the witness howled, nearby coyotes began vocalizing.

While solo camping in remote Iowa woods, the host had something walk around his tent at 3 a.m. He confirmed it moved on two legs. He noted if not Bigfoot, it would have been a person out at that hour.

On the first overnight in the bottoms the witness and a companion heard a twig snap followed by a shrill almost human-like whistle on the swamp side in the middle of the night. A short time later the same twig snap and whistle came from the other side between the old growth and swamp. Both men recognized it without speaking at first.

A loud siren-like scream announced their arrival from a mile away, followed by powerful gorilla-like grunts that moved around the meadow and then circled completely around them.
