As a child playing outside on family land in Texas, the witness heard prolonged hammering from the woods. Her aunt called her inside warning about wood bogers, and her father later refused to explain the term. Years later she wondered if the sound was related to Sasquatch activity.

The witness was camping with family at a remote lake where they were the only campers. At night something walked beside the small tent and the witness hit something solid through the tent wall. The sibling looked out, screamed, and reported a man-like figure standing by the fire described as wearing a fur suit.

A group of hippie kids and a church family at a river swimming hole watched rocks fly from the trees and felt the mountainside shake toward them. A nine-foot hairy biped jumped into the five-foot hole, mostly staying dry, then roared. The witnesses fled and the hole was closed for the summer.

Two people were driving at night spotlighting animals when they noticed large widely spaced eyes low to the ground. After a shot was fired toward the eyes, a tall figure stood from behind bushes, shook vegetation violently and screamed. The pair fled in their truck.

At age six or seven the witness slept alone in a tent about fifteen feet behind the cabin as a toughness challenge. Half asleep, the witness felt picked up in the sleeping bag and carried about seventy-five yards away from the cabin into the woods, realizing from the receding back light and long strides it was not a parent. After a deep grunt and another approaching, the carrier returned and placed the witness back in the tent, where the witness woke reversed and partly outside the tent.

The witness describes his family moving onto timber land in Rainier, Oregon and living there for about four years. During that time a group of four large hairy creatures repeatedly approached the trailers, looked in windows, pounded on walls, vocalized, left tracks and damaged property. Timber workers, well drillers and neighbors were also harassed, and the witness's sisters and mother eventually left for Washington because of fear.

The witness was sleeping in a tent with other campers during a Girl Scout overnight stay when she was awakened by something pressing on the tent and making grunting sounds. After she scratched the tent fabric and made a loud sound herself, she felt something solid outside and heard a loud grunt or growl followed by crashing away through the underbrush. The other occupants screamed, camp leaders said everyone was accounted for, and an unrecognized funky odor was noticed.

When the witness was a young child, the witness and a companion were chopping a rotted fallen tree with hammers far out in a swamp. After hearing a loud noise described as like a scream, they saw a very large dark man-like form walking very near them. Both children dropped everything and ran home without looking back.

The witness was playing outside at night by the driveway next to the woods and walked toward a streetlight when a tall hairy figure was standing directly in front. The witness looked up at its face and eyes while it looked down without expression, then ran inside to tell parents who dismissed it. A few minutes later a relative and a friend ran inside saying they heard someone walking in the woods.
Surprise observation by two hunters on the opposite bank of the river
Two relatives were hunting near a river and stopped at the edge to drink when they heard brush noises from across the water. A large brown figure emerged from the brush, moved downshore and crossed to their side while running on two legs. They then crossed to the other side and headed back upstream toward their trucks without further strange encounters.

As a small child sleeping in an isolated Florida ranch house on a bright summer night, the guest was awakened by livestock panic followed by silence and approaching footsteps. A massive dark form filled the bedroom window and seemed to look down at him while breathing heavily, terrifying him so badly he tried to hide under the mattress. He later identified the hairy arm seen in a movie as matching what was at his window.

The guest and his younger brother were on summer vacation at their grandfather's hillside house in West Virginia. After the younger brother fled the back bedroom saying a hairy face had pushed through the unscreened window while sniffing the air, both boys ran outside and, in headlights reflected off the siding, watched a dark bipedal figure go down the rear embankment and crash through a dense briar thicket. The next morning their uncle turned pale when told and warned them to stay out of the back.

The witness was deer hunting from a stand when chirping sounds approached through the woods. A large dark manlike figure stepped into a shooting lane about 30 feet away and looked around. After the witness called out, it stared at him and left in a few strides.
Sasquatch sighting near Lenexa, Kansas (1970)
While throwing a football alone at night, the witness noticed a small head with pointed ears peeking from behind tall hedge bushes and threw the ball toward it after it repeatedly ducked. Later that same night while sleeping near a low bedroom window, a much larger hairy face appeared at the glass, made eye contact, shifted its eyes, wrinkled its brow and opened a wide mouth showing pointed teeth. The witness fled to a parent's room while heavy pacing was felt and heard around the house, then police were called but found nothing. The next morning the witness found large prints around windows and garden, recalled repeated early-morning howls, a growl with a branch breaking, grunting in the basement and a violently shaking backyard tree.
