Bikers hear loud call while on Hwy 30
In 1972 the witness and a companion were bicycling uphill on Highway 30 toward the coast with camping gear when they heard a single very loud, lonely, human-like howling cry. They stopped and watched the tree-covered slope below the road, debating whether to turn back, but heard nothing further. Years later the witness heard an online recording described as an Ohio Bigfoot vocalization that recalled the 1972 sound, which he now believes must have been made very close by.

The witness and his wife returned in late January to a rock grotto where he had earlier found a possible bedding area. They found the bed intact but an old wagon moved from a ledge with drag marks in the rock. As they hiked out through a ravine, unseen actors on both ridges followed them for about an hour with knocks, whistles and other vocalizations, shaking and snapping saplings and throwing rocks until the pair reached the woods edge. Neither reported seeing anything.

In a moonlit clearing he watched a human-like figure stand upright, share prolonged eye contact, then flee into the woods while making a loud hissing breath sound. A much larger figure then charged from the trees, crossed the clearing in a few strides, and stayed parallel to him through the woods until he reached the road.

The witness was camping overnight with family at a campsite near Medford. In the middle of the night the witness stepped briefly outside the camper and felt watched. Immediately after returning to bed, the witness heard a very loud scream that seemed to fill the campsite. A relative later said they had heard the same sound, and the witness was glad to leave.
Motorists sleeping by US 101 awakened to rocking motorhome
The witness and a companion pulled their motorhome off Highway 101 late at night to rest. The vehicle was rocked three times over about ten minutes. After going outside, they heard a loud scream and watched a huge bipedal form run through the trees and across a stream. A patrol officer arrived shortly after and told them to leave the pull-off.

The witness and a high-school friend walked up a creek bed looking for a planting spot and found about ten large bare tracks bigger than the witness's own feet. After examining the tracks for a few minutes they heard an extremely loud high-pitched shriek lasting several seconds from a few hundred feet upslope. They interpreted it as threatening and left immediately and never returned.

After hearing loud screams at a Lake Cushman camp, the guest walked an old road at dawn following chatter and branch breaks. He watched a nine-foot black male cross the road, then sat near huckleberries where a blonde-brown female and toddler fed, mimicked him, held his hand, and interacted closely. A juvenile female appeared, the male threw down a tree and left scat and tracks, and other campers later said they saw two of the animals.

An older couple spent about an hour night-fishing in West Side Park with chairs and coolers. They repeatedly heard rustling around their pickup, then a loud tree smack and branch break as they moved between their fishing spot and the truck. As they started the truck with windows open, something struck the passenger-side bed with great force and they saw a roughly seven to seven-and-a-half-foot silhouette in the headlights before driving off. At home they found a basketball-sized dent, and a police-officer friend told them several local officers had also seen the creature but never reported it.

The witness was squirrel hunting while seated on a large rock near Clarion when a noise behind prompted observation. A large hairy animal about 6 to 7 feet tall moving upright was seen and watched walking about 200 yards until out of sight. The witness remained briefly out of fear, then ran home, insisting the animal was not a bear.
Nightime sighting at a Lake Milton marina
A teenager and an older neighbor spent the night on a boat at a marina to catch suspected vandals. During the night the teenager saw a huge hair-covered figure crouched at an overturned trashcan scooping garbage, then stand upright and stare briefly. The figure stepped over the trashcan, sprang up an embankment, and disappeared into brush, leaving disturbed dew, strewn garbage, and broken brush.

When the witness was about seven, the family found very large footprints on a Lake Superior beach. While leaving through the woods toward the car they heard loud screeching and something large jumping nearby without being seen. They left quickly in the car, with the witness feeling the source was too big to be people.

The witness, home from school, was standing in woods near a deep ravine when they heard something walking through leaves. They then watched for a few seconds a very large, hairy figure walking upright uphill about 50-100 yards away, with its head obscured by branches. The figure quickly disappeared, and when the witness crossed to the other side they found nothing, noticed complete silence, became frightened, and ran home to tell a relative who did not believe them.

After the brother woke and made a noise, the figure turned, showing a flat-faced profile and hunched posture, then walked away and was seen from the back door as covered in dark hair. The figure paused when they struck the glass, then continued leaving. A day later they found tracks behind the house leading toward the houses.
