The guest was napping in a bedroom with the bed against an outside wall when an odor woke him. He looked up through a window and saw a very large hair-covered figure standing close and staring in. After several seconds it leaned forward, the guest fled toward his parents' room, and the figure vocalized loudly, moved around the house to the porch area, and vocalized again while dogs reacted.

The guest and his family stood behind the house one night listening to loud hyena-like screaming for about ten minutes. The grandmother dismissed it as a cougar. The guest later thought it resembled so-called Umatilla screamer sounds.

A tall upright creature stepped from behind a tree and stared at her from a short distance before four smaller individuals crossed the driveway on all fours and disappeared into the woods. She smelled strong body odor and later found only scuffs in the dry dirt.

A caller told the host that his family had been harassed at their home for a few years. They experienced beating on windows, thumping on walls, interference with doors, and growling at the windows. Their daughter said shadow figures came to her window in the middle of the night trying to talk to her.

While working in the park, the guest hiked to climb a mountain via a narrow valley and detoured to check an old cabin site. He found a large well-trodden trail, a shredded willow break, and a torn-apart rotten stump, which he attributed to snow and bears at the time. On the return in a sunny open spot he heard a loud single-syllable vocal from the woods over the creek and chose to leave for the wide river bar rather than investigate.

While on a large rural wooded farm, the guest and the farm owner heard what sounded like an off-trail dirt bike uphill on old roads. They hiked up to investigate and found no bike tracks in moist ground and impassable fallen timber. The companion reported hearing conversational voices that the guest could not hear, and they left the area.

While at a remote bush cabin, the guest stepped outside and heard a close-range high-pitched wailing and sighing sound about 100 feet away. He formed the impression of a nervous female with young nearby alerting others to his presence.

In his early twenties the guest bushwhacked to a remote trailless high mountain lake to look for Sasquatch and camped overnight. He woke at night to a high-pitched howling unlike coyote, and in the morning found a large track impression in mud in front of his tent. He felt an urgent need to leave, hurried down hearing branches cracking behind him, and the urgency lifted when he reached sunshine and the creek.

In the morning at the north-side parking lot, the witness and partner heard bipedal shuffling, approached a cabbage palm patch about 60 feet from the car, and heard something burst through saw palmettos running on clear steps while screaming like a frightened boy. They could not see it in the thick brush.

On the first night return to the area with another man, around 10:30 p.m. in darkness, the witness kicked a dry palm frond. They heard a loud tree snap followed by three bounding landings moving about 20 feet per jump to about 60 feet away, but could not catch up to film it.

About a year before the 2013 sighting, in a different area, the witness did not see the creature but was screamed at. He had followed a constructed tunnel and a few tracks into similar dense cover.

While alone in a deer stand in the dark morning the witness heard an extremely loud scream like a woman screaming in pain that she compared to a monster giving birth. She says no human could make a sound that loud, and she did not want to move or remain alone.

The witness's grandmother twice heard an extremely loud freight-train-like sound rushing down the steep gravel road in front of her wooded property at impossible speed. She said she had no explanation for what could move that fast there.

Over about ten years living on the adjoining acreage the family occasionally heard distant hoop-like whoops and hollers from the woods that did not sound like coyotes. The sounds were infrequent and heard from the porch and around the house.

The guest had just returned home after enlisting in the Navy and let his dogs out. He walked about 700-800 yards southeast into the woods and heard loud strange vocals, then saw a tall red-haired figure standing behind a berry bush staring at him. He ran back to the house, found his small dog shaking and foaming, then briefly returned to look for tracks before a loud branch snap sent him back to the house.

The guest hiked up a snowy mountain to retrieve a child's blanket and heard strange animal noises he assumed was a bear. The source mirrored his movements down the mountain. Near his car he turned and saw an indistinct light moving in and out of trees, then left.

The field assistant reportedly encountered a Dogman-type creature that looked at him from behind a tree on a hilltop. He ran, and the witness said it paced him unseen in the woods to his right with audible footfalls until reaching a creek where it stopped.
Sasquatch sighting
During night surveillance at a cemetery focal point, the investigator watched an invisible-to-eye light move through woods on thermal. His field companion looked through the thermal and said it transformed into an upright heat-signature being that crossed a dirt road toward a knoll. About a minute later the investigator heard a loud primate-like scream followed by owl-like hoots from that knoll.
