The witness was woken around 3 a.m. by her husband to listen to a distant loud vocalization coming from the direction of power lines and a lake. The sound repeated about every 30 seconds for over an hour and was felt physically. She had never heard anything like it despite familiarity with local wildlife.

Years later the guest was deer hunting on a farm bordering public land. After shooting a buck and leaving to retrieve an ATV, he returned to find the carcass gone and dragged toward dense pines. He saw a very tall hairy figure and a long arm pulling the deer into the thicket while two other figures moved nearby and vocalized, so he fired a pistol and fled on the ATV.

A guest and his friend were walking at night on a large wooded property where they had gone to look for Sasquatch. They heard rustling, sounds like bipedal footsteps, and a whoop that rose into a loud scream, with coyotes vocalizing nearby. Startled by the scream, the guest jerked and accidentally shot his friend in the back, then helped evacuate him to get medical help.

While the witness blew a loud predator call, his buddy watched the road and saw something big and black he first took for a young cow on all fours. It went into the tree line about a hundred feet away, circled, and gave a yell-growl the buddy had never heard from a bear. The witness was blowing the call and did not hear it himself.

While elk hunting, the witness heard with a bionic ear a sharp knock followed by muffled knocks and occasional dog-like barks from a steep juniper mountain with no campers present. A pack of coyotes barked then stopped while the knocking continued. He theorized a Bigfoot was knocking cones from pines, smashing them, and eating ripe pine nuts.

The witness and his cousin went out to camp and target shoot in a remote snowy clearing. After a rock strike and foul odor, they entered the woods at dark and saw a large hairy upright creature showing teeth while others vocalized around them. They fired weapons while retreating to snowmobiles, the cousin ran for the truck, and the witness held position firing for an extended period before they escaped in the truck. The cousin later found the abandoned snowmobiles torn apart.

The creature screamed and stayed around the base for much of the night. Co-workers later helped him down after it left.

The witness lived for two to three months in a rock overhang above a canyon stream, fishing with traps and hunting small game. A large hairy creature repeatedly raided his fish traps, exchanged rock throws, accepted camp bread, used a larger trap left for it and took deer remains. After an ice storm the witness developed severe pneumonia with high fever and could not tend his fire. He reported the creature looking in on him, leaving meat, a headless rabbit and herbs he boiled, then carrying him down the canyon over hours or days until a couple in a converted school bus found him and got him to a hospital.

The witness spent a few days watching from a hill while the wind kept his scent away. He watched adult females keep young in trees, lay with babies, coo, pet them and release a sweet spiced-honey-like scent. When a distant holler sounded the group got up and moved away.

While he tapped a stick on a boulder, they heard heavy footsteps nearby followed by loud rock clacks from the ridge. After driving a short distance to another road, they heard an extremely loud roar from the ridge area and immediately fled home.

Over about a week the witness repeatedly woke alert at night hearing pops like small rocks hitting the house and a cat reacting. One night the witness heard several deep mumbling syllables directly outside the bedroom window that felt like a very large voice. A search with family and by car found no people, vehicles, or tracks except a car dome light on.

While camouflaged in a tree in a dense cedar swamp, the guest heard what sounded like a group of people strolling and conversing at a distance, though no words could be distinguished. The location seemed unsuitable for casual walkers. He could not determine what produced the sounds.

Several years earlier the guest and a group of friends gathered for a nighttime bonfire on a high sandy riverbank. After hearing movement across the river, some in the group threw rocks, one producing a hollow thud, and something large charged across the water up the bank. The group scattered, and the guest helped carry a pregnant companion to a vehicle while the pursuer stopped close behind.
