Two cousins were bass fishing from a small boat late in the afternoon when bowling-ball sized rocks were thrown toward them from shore. After motoring to an island to confront who they thought was a person, a very large black hairy biped stepped out, screamed, charged and struck one cousin, breaking ribs and puncturing a lung, then threw a log that cut his chin. The creature reappeared, swayed and made clicking mouth sounds, then leapt about twenty feet and ran away on all fours for several hundred yards in seconds.

They heard a heavy thud behind them like something dropping from a tree, then heavy bipedal running and a jump across a 10 to 15-foot creek.
