The witness's husband was hunting alone from an elevated stand on the evening of November 18, 2019. He heard a series of loud vocalizations, howls, knocks and gibberish-like sounds from dense brush, with a second individual answering from down a draw. After he shouted a warning and fired a shot toward advancing growls, two unseen creatures charged through the brush chasing him to the road, where they stopped as he fled to his truck.
Possible nighttime activity during a hog hunt on a ranch near Bryson
The witness and three relatives were hog hunting at night from two positions separated by several hundred yards. Around midnight they heard bipedal footsteps, grunting, whistling, whoops and reciprocal tree knocks, smelled a strong foul odor, and had small sticks thrown at their position. After a shot was fired into the ground, heavy running was heard moving toward the second position where glowing eyes were seen, and the group left around 2 a.m.

The witness and a roommate were on the back porch at night when they heard very loud howling and repeated whooping sounds coming from the creek. The sounds continued for about 15-20 minutes, moving up and down the creek without fading. The witness described the calls as clear, very loud, and reminiscent of a mother calling a child home, and said it was unlike anything heard before.

The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree. The family came to view the main animal as a gentle female and believed several others including young were present. Activity is said to have faded after new homes were built nearby.

The witness claims an extremely loud cow-call-like vocalization was encountered again less than a week ago in hardwood bottoms just before dark. The sound is compared to a human using a bullhorn and is said to vibrate the body. A man driving to fish with his son stopped on a road near a lake after seeing what he thought was a bear. The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The creature vocalized loudly, threw part of a snake toward them, then ran rapidly into the woods.

While fishing the witness heard loud knocking sounds, a loud moan-like wail, and a large splash from an unseen heavy object thrown into the water nearby. The witness and his uncle were coyote hunting from a truck when they saw a large orange ball of light maneuvering in the sky and heard a loud electric-motor hum. A deer stumbled from the woods and collapsed then recovered, multiple jets converged on the light, all sound stopped, flashes appeared and the light vanished. They then heard loud tree snapping approaching the tree line and fled, later seeing a fast blue streak of light while driving away.
Hunter's possible encounter near Kirbyville
The witness climbed into a deer blind before dawn to hunt. Shortly after sitting down, he heard a sustained higher-pitched howl from one side and a lower sustained response from the other side, neither matching animals he knew. Minutes later while getting binoculars from his truck, he heard a low gruff voice-like sound resembling "Hey You" from close range, then returned to the blind.

Late at night at his hillside home, the witness was on the driveway and porch trying to get his two large dogs to go into the woods below. A very loud, powerful yell or holler erupted from close range downhill, which he felt vibrate through his body and which silenced all dogs in the area. His dogs froze with raised hackles staring downhill, then pigs and possible raccoons were heard moving up a valley, followed by distant dogs barking uphill as if something moved away quickly.

The witness parked with four teenage companions at a forest spot late at night to watch from a pickup truck. After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.
Twist near Kendall County (2012)
Investigators visited the ranch and found a grove of small trees twisted, including one twisted opposite the others. They also found large human-like tracks near a creek, some very long and wide. Overnight recording equipment left out captured what sounded like an infant crying in cold conditions where no infant should be.

The witness hiked with three relatives on a quiet day. They heard a tree shaking, distant talking or laughing, then after they made playful calls something very close yelled back and was partly recorded. As they reached the parking lot she heard a hollow rhythmic chest-beating sound.
Possible midnight encounter in Thorp Springs RV Park
The witness was outside a residence near a wooded creek around midnight when loud whoops, heavy approaching footfalls, a mildew odor, and a howling dog were noticed. A tall dark man-shaped figure then appeared in a moonlit clearing in the creek bed about 30 yards away. The figure faced the witness briefly then moved out of the light into the woods, and the witness went back inside.
Gas field trucker has encounter at well head near Aledo
A saltwater hauler working after midnight at an oil-field tank site reported seeing glowing red eyes above a 9-10 foot fence during an unusually quiet period with a skunk-like odor and a low growl. The figure moved out of view and then threw about five tennis-ball-sized rocks toward the storage tanks, with two striking the nearest tank. The witness felt intimidated and left the site, returning the following night to look for the rocks.
Possible vocalizations heard outside Chapel Hill
Around 2 a.m. the witness heard a long, horrible call she associated with Bigfoot calls played on television shows. Shortly afterward she heard a second, higher-pitched strange cry she said she had never heard except on TV. A daughter living two houses away was also awake and heard the sound, though from farther away.

On the final morning of a multi-day stay during a heat wave the researcher asked a companion to mentally request a goodbye sound. Within ten seconds a knock came from about 150 feet in woods where no daytime knocks had been heard.
