The witness was sitting in an elevated stand for deer when screams were heard approaching over a couple minutes, followed by head-sized rocks being thrown at the witness. The frightened witness fired a rifle toward the source. The witness states the same experience recurred on later return visits.
Man has late night sighting near Twain Harte
After midnight the witness, sleeping in a cabin bedroom, was awakened by vibration and the sense of someone walking on the porch. Looking toward the porch light through a window about twenty feet away, the witness watched a hair-covered figure with its back turned, which then turned, looked toward the window and leaned to peer inside before jumping off the six- to eight-foot-high porch. The witness kept watching in fear and did not tell others or search for traces in the morning.
Wood knocking and screams heard in rural area
The witness reports hearing loud screams and wood-clicking-like sounds while letting dogs outside, with other dogs barking and horses spooked. Whole buckets of deer corn have been carried away, the deer feeder was disturbed, and tree stems in the woods behind the house appear eaten. The witness believes several unknown animals are present, reports unusual smells and a feeling of being watched, and feeds deer weekly at the same spot.

The witness claims to have heard screams from a creek canyon on four occasions in calm, mostly clear weather. Three earlier hearings seemed to come from up the canyon direction and the most recent hearing on the day of the report seemed to come from down the canyon direction.

The witness and three companions took a late-night winter walk on game and recreational trails in the woods. On the way back they heard footsteps and branches breaking around them and something repeatedly threw snow or hard snow clods at them, while dogs barked nearby and a rank carcass-like odor was noticed. They jogged most of the way out, leaving around 3-3:30 a.m., and the witness believed deep snow ruled out a prank by a person.
Campers Hear Unusual Evening Sounds
Two campers spent a rainy night at a campground after noticing a skunk-like odor on arrival. Through the night they heard ape-like hoots, single-note whistles, repeated wood-on-wood whacks from several directions, heavy two-legged footsteps, and nearby rockslides. They saw nothing in the dark and left the next morning, noting the steep bowl-shaped hillside could carry sounds from far uphill.

The witness arrived in darkness to hunt deer from a tree stand on private land. While sorting gear in the stand, a very loud prolonged scream-howl ending in a growl occurred at close range, followed by movement in a nearby pine thicket and a brief foul odor. The witness stayed in the stand until first light, then left, and later visits had no further incident.
While taking dog outside witness sees large bipedal shadow next to his shed
Late on a winter night the witness took the dog outside and saw a large hair-covered figure standing near a small building about 20-25 feet away. The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. After briefly looking away at a noise, the witness went inside for a handgun, and on returning the figure was gone though sounds remained in the woods. A large footprint was found the next day.
Campers describe incidents over 3-4 hours with unseen animal near their camp outside Prattsburgh
The witness and a companion were camped overnight in a shelter when the witness heard movement circling the camp, popping-like impacts and growls. The witness briefly saw a large dark shape among trees that was gone on second look. After investigating, the pair heard a heavy bipedal approach pass close behind camp, prompting them to leave for the cabin. The next day the witness found a large footprint and a freshly fallen tree.

The witness was awakened very early in the morning by a loud walking noise in gravel outside the house and noticed a sensor light had turned on. The witness went to the window and saw a large shadowy figure about 6 or 7 feet tall walking across the road.
Unusual call silenced coyotes, frightened dog
On November 5, 2003 at about 9:30 p.m., the witness was outside with her dog at her home near the base of a mountain when she heard a loud, long drawn-out human-like 'ahhhh' sound from across the field. Coyotes that had been howling stopped for about 30 minutes and later resumed from a different location, and her large dog tucked its tail and ran home. The witness did not see the source, did not recognize it as any known wildlife, and said she felt it may have been a Sasquatch.

While tracking elk into timber beside a clearcut, the witness felt watched and noticed silence, then saw a bear run off. Shortly after, the witness smelled a strong odor and watched a large dark form staying hidden in dense brush that seemed to move with and toward him. The standoff involved limbs and dirt clods thrown toward the witness, grunting, crying and woofing sounds, and brush movement suggesting a charge. The witness fired two shots into the air, ran to the road, and heard crashing moving down a ravine.

The witness was walking through woods in the morning toward a deer stand when a large human-like creature was seen. The witness chambered a round in a rifle, after which the creature screamed and ran off and the witness fled the area.
Loud, unseen animal torments deer hunter two days in a row
The witness was hunting deer from a remote elevated blind on two consecutive mornings. After wildlife fell silent around 7 a.m., prolonged branch breaking and pounding on trees was heard for hours, a frightened hog fled the woods, a branch struck the blind, and deep growls were heard. On the second morning approach, something was heard walking alongside in the brush and a close growl was heard near the stand before the noises resumed at daybreak. Nothing was ever seen and no tracks were found.

The witness and a companion were elk hunting near their vehicle about an hour after daylight when they heard repeated loud wailing screams tapering to moans from a canyon about 250-300 yards away. The calls occurred several times over about ten minutes and seemed to shift direction. There was no visual contact, and the sound frightened the witness.

The witness stayed alone overnight in an unfinished cabin he had helped build for a friend's project. During the night he was awakened by an approaching barking dog and heavy vibrations shaking the structure, followed by dragging sounds along the wall and breathing at the open sliding door. By morning he found a large oily handprint on the glass and discovered the dog hiding beneath the cabin. He interpreted the events as a Sasquatch passing through the site in pursuit of or pursued by the dog.
Deer hunter has early morning sighting from tree stand near Pearl City
The witness climbed into a tree stand before dawn to bow hunt. While it was still dark, something breathed heavily beneath the stand for about 10 minutes then walked away to the southeast. Shortly after sunrise in light fog, the witness saw a large human-like figure about 100 yards away walking east at a fast pace. After climbing down, the witness followed its footprints eastward.
Rouckhound has sighting, is followed out of woods by creature
The witness was rockhounding with a dog at sunset and started hiking out. The witness saw a tall black figure standing partly behind a tree about 30 feet away, then walked away while smelling a strong foul odor and hearing grunting behind. The figure was seen again standing in a clear spot by the river about 50-60 yards back and appeared to follow by sound until the witness reached a truck and left.
Resident hears screams regularly
About a week after reported daylight sightings near Decatur, the witness sat on the back porch at home and heard an extremely loud, unfamiliar screaming vocalization from the hollow and creek bed below. The sound moved rapidly from left to front to right over about 30 minutes and continued after a short break, with dogs barking widely, and remained audible from inside the house. Around 9:30 the nearby screaming continued and a second distant vocalization answered, at which point the witness, being alone, went inside.
