The witness was walking in the woods near a creek after hearing a strange noise. They reported turning to see a gigantic 8-9 foot tall creature about 100-150 feet away that smelled bad, watching it for several minutes until it walked away. After waiting, they went to where it had stood and reported finding huge tracks, then returned to the road feeling they were being followed.

A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

The witness repositioned the vehicle to shine headlights and glimpsed a large bipedal figure vaulting a barrier and descending an embankment. Afterward the witness found fresh muddy footprints crossing the road and lot on the same path.

About a minute later a strong foul odor was noticed, followed minutes later by a series of loud hoots. The next morning the witness found large human-like barefoot tracks in sand.

About an hour later the witness returned with two companions and all three heard pounding on trees and mumbled vocalizations before leaving.

The sound began as a low roar and rose to a high-pitched primal scream, lasting about six to seven seconds and repeating four times over about ninety seconds. The witness reported lifelong outdoor experience in Colorado and said the sound matched no known animal and caused a chill. No animal was seen.

The witness was trying to sleep in a converted school bus on a property when the whole bus began shaking. He then heard rocks being clacked together repeatedly, moving farther, closer, and right outside, continuing through the night. He started the bus and turned on all lights to deter the source, but the clacking resumed and sounded like two makers. He reports staying awake all night without seeing the source.

The next morning a canoe dock where the scuffle was heard was seen destroyed, and the dog was later found alive but limping.

The figure ran downhill after the deer and disappeared into brush, and the hunters later found a very large footprint where it had stood.
