While climbing out of a remote canyon with only his dog, the witness heard an extremely loud machinery-like jackhammer sound bellow from the canyon bottom. He had never heard it recorded elsewhere and could not imitate it. His dog flattened its ears and cowered as if seeking protection.

The witness, an HVAC apprentice, waited alone in the back of a work van at a rural house in western Massachusetts while his coworker stepped away and a boiler timer ran. He heard faint breathing and a light tap on the van, then saw a very tall dark figure hunched to peer through a 3-4 inch gap in the rear door and locked eyes with it for several seconds. The eye appeared pitch black then briefly glowed white-gray, apparently reflecting the coworker's headlamp, before a loud boiler boom startled the figure. It fled in three loud steps across gravel, grass and leaves that both men heard, left a sour wet-towel odor, and the elderly homeowner responded that local animals are friendly.

After returning to his mother's house, the witness went to bed but woke to see a bright light approaching across the fields and entering through the window to hover over him. He felt a warm paralyzing sensation and fled to his mother's bed. While lying there he saw a floating bull-skull-like vision and heard his sleeping mother make a bull-like sound before waking her.

During a period when bucks acted unusually spooked, the witness waited at a stump until dark. He heard a man-like cough nearby then jumbled talking like two or three people, but saw no one and no lights. The voices seemed to wait until he passed then move back along the road he had come down.

The witness and his young son went squirrel hunting in a public forest reached through a swamp. On the trail back they heard loud bipedal footsteps, heavy raspy breathing, and a powerful growl from very close range but saw nothing despite sparse cover. The unseen presence paced them for about a hundred yards, then growled again and ran toward them through the swamp as they reached the truck and left.

A family of four hiking with a daughter in an off-road wheelchair encountered a gray-black animal on all fours that approached then left. A tall seven-foot figure then ran through chasing what they believed was a hog, which was heard squealing and then going quiet. A smaller all-fours figure with unusual head hair then approached them snarling until a whistle from the woods called it away, and the family fled.

The witness hiked alone at night to snowboard down an old hill. After the speaker died, a loud echoing bark answered the witness's shouts three times from downhill. While preparing to descend, the witness heard close loud joker-like laughing from trees ahead and fled downhill frightened.

While sitting by a fire, the witness heard what sounded like small children talking very close behind him. He spun around to find nothing and silence. Walking the open part of the property he continued hearing mumbled child-like talk that he could not make into words.

A couple set up a tent late at night in a small Arkansas river campground and noticed broken trees, a single large glowing eye by the river, then two large eyes watching from uphill. After going to sleep they were awakened by bipedal footsteps, owl-like calls turning to chatter, pebbles hitting the tent, touches to the tent and truck, and movement around camp. The man blew an air horn, they fled in their truck, later returned in daylight to find large footprints and discovered his phone had recorded sounds through the night.

Home alone midday, the witness saw an old-man-like figure crawl from bushes into the backyard, sniff the air, and approach the house while making strange noises. He confronted it with an unloaded shotgun from the deck until it turned and crawled back into the brush on a trail.

After the fence encounter the witness heard walking behind an abandoned barn, then recorded video from several football fields away of loud deep thuds on the farmer's barn for about ten minutes while birds panicked. The girlfriend later heard tapping inside the abandoned barn midday, and the witness later heard loud whoops from the woods while inside the house.

After moving to a house backing to farmland and woods, the witness's girlfriend felt watched at sunset while the German Shepherd stared at the woodline. For about two weeks the dogs repeatedly froze, raised hair, barked viciously, ran between doors growling, and growled from a crate at night.

Over later visits to the same woods the witness and friends found a hair-covered shape curled like a stump, had a softball-sized rock thrown at their group, found a hung bait bucket punched open and emptied, felt hot breath and heard a grunt behind them with nothing seen, and found logs arranged like benches that gave an overwhelming feeling of dread. The witness also relayed a friend's solo report of something large jumping tree to tree with a shadow passing overhead.

The guest relays that her mother, who sleeps little, has repeatedly heard loud nighttime sounds at the ranch property. These include whooping, gibberish-like chatter, and deep guttural noises that echo through the valley, often near times when motion alarms activate. The father does not hear them well due to poor hearing.

The guest and his daughter were walking on trails on their property when he heard a tree knock to the east and an odd crow-like sound to the west. He felt positioned between two sources and possibly walking into an ambush. He called his daughter and returned to the house.

After burning brush in the backyard, the witness was walking toward the house when a very loud yell was heard that set off neighborhood dogs. The witness recorded part of the sound on a phone. Two recordings from the yard were later analyzed and described as having a signature attributed to a sasquatch howl.
