On the last night out, the pair sat back-to-back on a man-made ridge and made knocks, howls and other calls. Responses approached, then stopped, followed by heavy bipedal steps and rocks thrown from the front on both sides. They threw rocks back for many minutes until a rock came from the direction they had entered, making the guest conclude they were surrounded.

The guest and a friend spent several nights in the woods behind the friend's house trying knocks and howls. They received a loud howl in reply, heard owl-like responses, had many rocks thrown near them, and heard a loud wolf-like commotion from a thicket near an old graveyard.

From a blind in the afternoon the witness shot a doe that ran into the tree line. Following blood and a strong gut-like stench that grew stronger, the witness found the deer on its side with the body undulating and something large behind it. After a loud heavy exhalation, the witness yielded the deer and left.

Later at home her fiance spoke in a deep voice saying he was not there, and family brought priests to perform an exorcism. Someone also prayed over her unborn baby during the rite.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

Two friends camped without a tent between ridges past a reservoir after the witness made wood knocks. They heard a loud roar from one ridge and a scream from the other, then heavy footsteps approaching to within feet. The witness saw part of a very large wide-shouldered figure in moonlight with loud in-and-out breathing. They stayed still without using a light until the sounds receded, then moved camp and stayed awake until morning.

Odor
Over several months the household noticed episodic skunk-like odors, distinct tree knocks, grunts and owl-like mimicry, nightly dog barking and motion lights tripping. A chain-link dog kennel was found shoved inward with no recent bear sign. Muffled conversation-like sounds were heard behind the house with no footprints found.
Footsteps near Wallace, Texas
While exploring a dry riverbed with his brother and cousin, the witness heard footsteps on top followed by heavy breathing and brush crashing that echoed off the banks. He told the others to run on his signal to the entry where adults were seining fish. The pursuit stopped short of the people and they left.

The guest walked from his uncle's house across a creek and pasture toward a creek with waterfalls when he heard loud irregular banging from the woods. Approaching the sound he heard a strange higher-pitched vocalization, retreated while calling his brother, then ran home. An hour later his brother knocked on a tree near the house and received a distant knock in reply.

The host retells what a paranormal investigator told him about an abandoned town area in Texas where people hear screaming and a saw at night in the woods. The investigator used an EVP device to ask questions. When jokingly asked if any Bigfoot were around, the device allegedly answered that they are very destructive.
