The witness rode an ATV to the back of the family property on a winter night with snow and ice. A light reflected eyes in a tree, then something growled, showed large teeth, and approached as snow crunched. The witness fled on the ATV to the truck, hid overnight hearing screaming and whooping, and became ill afterward.

The witness was walking through riverside woods to check a trail camera when a loud, powerful yell came from about 100 yards away. The witness called back, then searched with a rifle scope and caught a brief glimpse of shaggy reddish-brown legs as the source fled through the trees. On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. After waking her husband, who saw nothing from the back door, the witness called the dog from the front door and saw it react toward the back of the property. Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.

A large black hairy figure standing a short distance beyond the rabbit fled rapidly downhill through the woods, making loud noise. The witness drove to the back of a hunting property and left the truck running while replacing an apple block and checking game trails. While squatted looking for sign, the witness heard a close guttural sound, drew a pistol, felt heavy footsteps, and saw a very large biped run about 20 yards through brush before dropping to all fours and crashing away. The witness found no tracks due to soil conditions, backed out to the truck, and drove away watching for pursuit.

Two occupants of a Jeep returning to base camp late at night noticed a large, dark, upright figure walking in the road ahead of their headlights. The figure, described as broad, massive and moving smoothly, stepped off into a ditch and into the woods as the vehicle approached. After stopping, one occupant heard sounds in the woods and both then saw a head-and-shoulders shape move quickly between trees before the area went quiet.

A couple walking on a gated two-track trail near the Trinity River at dusk claimed a rusty-red upright figure about six feet tall leapt across the trail about 40 yards ahead and disappeared into the woods in under a second. They ran to the crossing point and reported hearing it continue running through the woods, flushing birds, and the primary witness smelled a strong musky odor. They found no tracks but noted a clump of freshly uprooted trees nearby.

Late at night the witness ran into her yard ringing a bell and yelling to chase coyotes away from her cats, when something in the darkness growled back at her. She retrieved her truck and aimed its headlights into shrubs by the driveway, revealing a gray long-haired animal. It jumped a barbed-wire fence and ran on all fours through tall grass as she followed by truck before it veered toward a creek and disappeared.

When they returned in the morning to collect belongings they heard a loud wavering scream and fled, later noting broken limbs in the area.
