A fisherman trolling for redfish with his dog sees a large black shape moving between trees. The animal shows its head, described as a huge wolf, stares at the dog and growls. The fisherman flees by boat and later learns a local has seen the wolf-like animal before.

The witness and a companion were on foot tracking a creature that seemed ill, hearing moaning and distress sounds. They watched it collapse, vomit extensively, and then crawl away. In the vomit they found household food waste and a whole swallowed kitchen towel that had apparently made it sick.

After finding a parked car had been spun and scuffed, he lay awake in the tent hearing something slide down the valley wall, cross the creek, and knock over a cooler. Footsteps circled the tent and stopped over his head, and he saw a massive head looking down before it left.

The first guest's friend was asleep in his house on the reservation with the window open on a hot night. He woke to loud breathing outside, saw a large beast standing at the end of the backyard by the mountains, grabbed a rifle and turned on a light, after which it was gone. The next day he and his brother returned with guns and found three large footprints in the backyard.

She later reported the incident at a natural resources law enforcement meeting in Olympia. After it left he heard a loud high-pitched scream in the distance, felt watched while leaving, and vomited once clear of the woods.

Years later the guest was deer hunting on a farm bordering public land. After shooting a buck and leaving to retrieve an ATV, he returned to find the carcass gone and dragged toward dense pines. He saw a very tall hairy figure and a long arm pulling the deer into the thicket while two other figures moved nearby and vocalized, so he fired a pistol and fled on the ATV.

While the witness blew a loud predator call, his buddy watched the road and saw something big and black he first took for a young cow on all fours. It went into the tree line about a hundred feet away, circled, and gave a yell-growl the buddy had never heard from a bear. The witness was blowing the call and did not hear it himself.

The witness and his cousin went out to camp and target shoot in a remote snowy clearing. After a rock strike and foul odor, they entered the woods at dark and saw a large hairy upright creature showing teeth while others vocalized around them. They fired weapons while retreating to snowmobiles, the cousin ran for the truck, and the witness held position firing for an extended period before they escaped in the truck. The cousin later found the abandoned snowmobiles torn apart.

The guest was napping in a bedroom with the bed against an outside wall when an odor woke him. He looked up through a window and saw a very large hair-covered figure standing close and staring in. After several seconds it leaned forward, the guest fled toward his parents' room, and the figure vocalized loudly, moved around the house to the porch area, and vocalized again while dogs reacted.

In 2012 the same witness heard two loud wood knocks from a hillside after nearby wood-chopping stopped, then saw a large dark face watching from a brush gap for about a minute before it was gone.

The guest had just returned home after enlisting in the Navy and let his dogs out. He walked about 700-800 yards southeast into the woods and heard loud strange vocals, then saw a tall red-haired figure standing behind a berry bush staring at him. He ran back to the house, found his small dog shaking and foaming, then briefly returned to look for tracks before a loud branch snap sent him back to the house.

His field companion looked through the thermal and said it transformed into an upright heat-signature being that crossed a dirt road toward a knoll. About a minute later the investigator heard a loud primate-like scream followed by owl-like hoots from that knoll.

The witness struck out three times, on the final time seeing a large hand-like silhouette with opposed thumb. Later pine cones were thrown toward the fire from the dark, and no tracks were found in the morning.
