Country boys have frightening nightime encounter 50 miles south of Louisville
The witness and two companions stopped on a rural back road at night and heard a distant knock, then sounds of wood breaking after the witness whistled. After driving on to turn around and stopping again, the witness shone a light into the woods and saw a tall dark hairy figure with eyeshine watching them. The encounter lasted only a few seconds before the group drove away in fear.

The witness was handling hay bales behind the house and went to retrieve one that had fallen near a swampy drop-off. After circling around a large tree, the witness saw a very large dark upright figure crashing away through vines and palmettos. The figure headed east then turned northwest, wading across a waist-deep canal on two legs before becoming obscured by brush.
Growl near Port Angeles, Washington (2025)
The witness was staying alone in a small trailer-like Airbnb outside of town and had fallen asleep for the night. She was awakened by the bed swaying, wood creaking, a loud boom against the building and a deep low growl. She propped up, looked through a gap in the curtains and saw a large brown bipedal shape move very fast past the window with heavy footsteps, then hid under the covers in intense fear until morning without going outside to check.

After hearing thuds on the shack wall, three men went outside to investigate toward the outhouse. In the pitch dark beyond the outhouse they saw small pulsing dark-red lights that vanished when stared at directly and shifted position, with up to three seen at once. One man using a thermal scope saw no heat where the lights were but briefly saw a round white heat signature like a face peeking from behind a stump or tree, then later saw the pulsing red light; the lights eventually disappeared.
Possible sasquatch observed by cabin renter at 100 yards outside Gatlingburg
The witness and two companions were relaxing in an outdoor hot tub at a vacation cabin near Gatlinburg when the woods went silent and tree movement was heard. The witness noticed a motionless black shape resembling a gorilla's head and shoulders in sunlit brush about 100 yards away and watched it for several minutes. After briefly looking away at the cabin wall, he found the shape gone, and shortly after heard trees cracking. He watched for about ten more minutes without seeing anything further.
Sasquatch sighting near Monroe, Michigan (2025)
The witness and the witness's son were bow fishing in a marsh area in late morning when something dropped from a tree nearby with rustling and a heavy thud. A large dark-furred animal crouched and then fled rapidly through brush and up a slope over railroad tracks while the dog chased briefly. They saw it from behind running upright but hunched, described as bear-sized and gorilla-like, then left after hearing crunching behind them.

The witness was walking back toward his vehicle along the creek after using predator calls when he heard a loud wood knock and heard footsteps paralleling him. He glimpsed a large upright figure slipping behind a tree, then caught its face and upper body in his spotlight from about 40 yards for about two seconds before it pulled back behind the tree. He retreated through brush, crossed the creek, and hurried back to his vehicle while on the phone with a friend.
Footsteps in Kentucky (2025)
The witness was turkey hunting in a different area and saw hens on a peaceful evening. While walking out on a county road bordered by fields and honeysuckle he heard bushes shake, a grunt and loud stopping footsteps. He briefly saw a figure moving fast tree to tree off the road, ran to his truck after crossing water where the sounds stopped, and had no further incidents.
Sasquatch sighting near Pomaria, South Carolina (2024)
The witness was deer hunting from a ground blind at daybreak when a loud grunt and stomp were heard from behind. Turning, the witness saw a tall brown hair-covered human-like figure in brush nearby. The two observed each other for about 30 seconds before the figure turned and walked away.
Possible bigfoot sighting by hiker in Pine Barrens 5 miles SW of Beachwood
The witness was hiking with a dog when the dog ran ahead toward brush about 40 yards away. The witness ran up and briefly saw the back of a dark head as something ran away into thick brush. After a few minutes of silence, footsteps were heard moving downhill away from the witness.
Wood knock in Kentucky (2024)
The witness hiked into public land to bowhunt deer from a climber stand. After the woods went silent he heard two wood knocks, then saw a black bipedal figure through timber that vanished. Moments later a very large jet-black wolf-like animal appeared nearby staring at him, stalked toward a cedar thicket and disappeared. While hiking out he heard a deep scream-howl, panicked and ran to his truck and avoided the woods for the rest of deer season.
LAST NIGHT (10/11/24): Possible sighting of a sasquatch just outside Avery CA (Stanislaus NF)
The witness was outside a cabin at night with a high-power spotlight while taking a dog out to relieve itself. After hearing a noise from the woods behind the property, the witness shone the light on a tall light-brown upright figure fleeing away. The figure was glimpsed briefly at close range and then again at greater distance as dogs in that direction barked, and the witness estimated it at over eight feet tall and distinct from deer or bears.
Camper is surprised to see a face looking back at him from a ravine near TN/NC border SE of Tellico Plains
The witness was hiking with an expedition group near an old building and went behind it to look for sign. About 50 yards away the witness saw a dark shape that resolved into a face with heavy brow, broad nose, dark hair and dark eyes that turned to the side and back before disappearing. Afterward the witness heard whistles and a low guttural sound, felt unwelcome and unwell, waited, then later sketched what was seen.

Four companions were at a forest picnic camping area late at night and tried wood knocks after noticing eyeshine. Two companions left the vehicle with lights and encountered a very tall hair-covered figure that stepped from behind a tree, looked at them, then walked away slowly. After retreating to the vehicle, the group saw a brown shape crawling toward them and drove away quickly. A companion recorded video of the encounter on a phone.

An organized multi-day expedition with 18 participants was conducted in a heavily forested area with swamps and rivers. Nearly all participants reportedly heard or saw activity attributed to bigfoots, described as more than expected. Growl in Ohio (2024)
The witness returned to the same trail area with a cousin and left apples after knocking and calling. They heard a very deep growl from a low bush and chatter-like sounds behind them, then cracking sounds circling their camp until rain. Later the witness saw two pairs of bright amber eyes peering from behind trees, spoke to them, and the eyes vanished; the apples were gone on the way out.
Whoop in Iowa (2023)
The guest and a friend arrived at dusk to camp in a remote state forest and set up tents and a fire. They heard a very loud whoop from the tree line, followed by six knocks in pairs and movement breaking branches in a ravine. After a quiet period they heard close vocalizations including a whoop, rapid chatter and a deep yowl, then saw a dark crouched outline lunge into the forest, after which they abandoned camp and drove home.
Resident sees two sets of large green eyes reflecting spotlight around 1am near Holt
Late at night the witness was outside with dogs and scanned with a spotlight toward a soybean field clearing about 300 feet away. The light revealed two sets of reflective eyes estimated to be about seven feet high that moved behind a bush and repeatedly peeked out. After watching them disappear and reappear, the witness went inside for about twenty minutes and returned to find the area empty.

That night the party climbed the same mountain and the witness sat apart while others settled. He heard quiet brushing movement circling his position, then a long loud howl rose from the valley, and on the descent the party reported being paced, green eyeshine, and a bright head behind rocks seen on thermal by several members. As the witness took the lead near a thicket he heard a close juvenile-like two-syllable vocalization but saw nothing with his light.

On a preliminary night walk with the group the witness moved ahead to listen while others stayed behind. He heard twig breaks moving across his front, a group leader later reported a head peeking around a tree on thermal, another participant reported a dark hunched silhouette moving along a ridge, and the group heard chattering from downhill. The sounds stopped when approached and the group returned.
