The witness walked alone down a wooded path to a spring on a relative's farm. Near the spring the witness watched a hair-covered bipedal creature squatting and drinking for one to two minutes. A vocal sound from behind startled the first creature to standing and revealed a second taller creature close behind the witness. The witness ran away through the woods to the path and was not followed.

They searched with family that night without result, but the next day found scuffed tracks, broken branches, and fallen apples.
