After reuniting they drove toward the house and illuminated a tall shaggy biped in the field below the barn. They watched it briefly in the headlights before it turned and walked into a cedar thicket while their dog chased it a short way and returned.

The witness and a companion were wade fishing in an isolated creek when they noticed a beaver-like shape in deeper water upstream. The witness was fly fishing with five friends in the evening when the group heard a snap from across the river. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.

The witness was staying at his uncle's cattle farm to shoot a suspected coyote stealing chickens. From a barn loft at night he watched a tall bipedal creature emerge from the tree line and move very quickly toward the coops. After he shouted, it growled, screamed and charged the barn, shaking it, while he fired dozens of rounds down at it before it fled to the woods. No blood was found, only partial tracks, and a conservation officer told them to keep quiet.

After his wife screamed the creature stood, grunted, stared briefly, then crossed the creek in one step and climbed out of sight, after which the couple left and avoided hiking for months.

Alone at sunup to hang a trail camera, the witness encountered two black-haired juveniles about 15 feet away. The larger one stepped toward him, bared teeth and growled, then followed him to the road and struck him between the shoulder blades, knocking him across the road. They stopped and watched as it picked at vegetation, then made a purring sound that turned into a growl. The creature then walked on two legs into nearby woods making loud crunching noises, while the witnesses remained frightened.

During a multi-day camping trip the group smelled a terrible odor, heard knocks and gibberish chatter at night, then returned next day and fired a shotgun. Returning again that night without the wife, they heard a limb crack and a heavy thud as a rock landed by the buddy. A huge shouldered figure was seen behind the machine before they fled, later finding a high broken limb and a heavy rock.

The creature fled bipedally across a meadow toward a valley. Afterwards the witness found hair and blood on the tree where the creature had stood.

On a rainy afternoon a woman who was home alone heard two whoops from the tree line behind her house. She looked up and watched a tall, dark-haired figure step out of the trees, walk five long steps to the side while looking down, and step back into the forest. She called a relative to return home, and a later visit to the spot found trampled vegetation, stacked broken limbs, and a strong odor.
