She watched six large hairy bipedal creatures enter the cove, with the largest male pulling seaweed from the water for the females to chew and rub on themselves. When a camera part clattered on rocks the male charged, argued vocally with a female, then screamed, slammed its fists and urinated before the witness blacked out. She later woke bruised near her car with her jacket pulled over her head and reported the incident to hotel staff and police, who told her she had seen bears.

The witness slowly backed away looking down, the animal followed a short distance then turned, paused near a bushy spot, and walked into the woods. The witness rejoined companions who laughed, and has not returned to the area.

In early July 1988 the witness was alone at a summer camp when rustling and screams were heard from a rocky ledge above and a white upright figure was glimpsed moving behind trees. Two companions ran down the hill saying they had encountered a large white humanoid ape-like creature with long arms on a trail that screamed and fled after eye contact. The companions were shaken for hours but later denied the incident, and the witness remains uncertain whether it was a costumed person or a real creature.

The next day large five-toed tracks were found at the well and most of the guts were gone.

The guest and the same cousin were hunting with dogs at night along a creek bed near a dirt road curve. Both felt watched and heard extra steps behind them, then returned toward the parked truck. At the road the dogs froze, and the guest's spotlight revealed a hairy figure across the road by a culvert that covered its face with a hand before stepping into the dry creek as they left.

The witness and a relative were walking between ponds at night with lights when they spotted a tall human-like figure watching from behind a tree. After the witness whistled, the figure stepped into the road and took a few walking steps toward them, prompting both to flee back to camp. It shortened its stride to leap about 12 feet across the creek, pulled its foot from the far bank, and continued up the other side. His companion also saw it and asked who that was.
