The witness was sleeping in a travel trailer at a hunting camp when violent shaking woke him. An air horn had no effect, but setting off the truck panic alarm with lights and horn stopped the shaking. About five minutes later a very loud howl-growl-scream came from behind the trailer. The next day the witness and a companion could not replicate the movement by pushing the trailer.

The witness parked his semi off the freeway to sleep around 3 a.m. with the truck off and windows open. He felt the truck shaken gently and then violently, then saw a large hairy upright creature take two strides into nearby young trees. He smelled a bad odor and heard it leaving, then drove away without stopping until Montana.
