The friend saw a tall grayish-silver upright figure move between trees and dart away. Next morning they found a snapped trip line, a missing bell, and a large human-like track looking toward them.

He entered dense regrowth with a bush knife, camera and GPS after hearing a monkey-like noise, smelling a strong urine-like animal odor, and sensing being watched.
