They observed a large dark two-legged silhouette cross a moonlit cotton field with heavy footfalls felt in the ground. They ran to the house and later were dismissed when they told others.

The witness was in a military tent with several friends and a dog when the dog began growling. He saw a huge cone-headed shadow with long arms standing on two feet outside the tent staring in. He held an axe waiting for it to rip the tent, but it walked away after about a minute.
