Father and son witness fast-moving biped crossing road east of Fort Garland
While driving south to go hunting before sunrise, the witness and a companion saw a grey, shaggy bipedal figure run across the highway and up an embankment over a fence. The figure was bent over and moving very fast with its arms pumping, and had very long hair on its forearms. After stopping to look with a flashlight, they heard two distinct whistles from the trees.

The witness and at least one other person parked on a dirt road near a stream at night. They heard sloshing in the water and later saw a large figure run across the road ahead of the headlights and heard heavy steps in sagebrush. Using a spotlight they glimpsed a tall dark primate-like figure cross in front of a large boulder and enter dense timber.
