While working at the kayak camp with his small son and dog, the guest noticed the dog growling and staring into the bush. The guest saw only a darker brown shape with long hairs through the cover and then heard something move up the hill. He did not count it as a definite sighting.

The witness and a companion were hunting raccoons at night with a hound that first treed a raccoon then pursued another animal through forest. After the dog returned frightened and stayed close, the pair tried to walk out in darkness with failing lights. For an hour or two they heard something large circling them with heavy footfalls and crashing vegetation and small trees breaking nearby, but they never saw the source.

From about 10 feet away they heard loud cracking in brush and saw it moving violently, then heard and felt two or three extremely heavy steps moving away. Months later the witness drove to a bridge late at night to fish. In complete darkness he heard sounds like a vehicle and approaching steps, felt the bridge shake from heavy impacts, heard a branch move and a brief powerful scream, and nearly shot a neighbor who rode up on a bicycle. He realized the neighbor had not made the sounds and drove home without returning to the woods.

After hearing loud movement coming downhill, the witness briefly saw a bipedal figure running along a ridge through burned trees, then heard loud screams. Campers Awaken to Unknown Vocalizations, Brush Popping and Foul Odor
About 2 a.m., dozens of campers were awakened by loud prolonged screams from the woods east of the campground. Six campers entered the woods with flashlights toward the sound about 200-300 ft from the perimeter, smelled a foul odor and heard loud brush movement and wood cracking, then retreated. The screams lasted 20-25 minutes total, fading to the east with a similar sound from the south, followed by coyotes howling.

While walking back to the truck through knee-deep snow he heard twigs snapping and footsteps running through thick woods alongside him. The dogs went silent and their radio trackers gave no signal, then something large circled the men in the corn with audible running and heavy breathing. A large amount of foul-smelling clear slime splattered onto the partner, and the men retreated to the truck to find both dogs cowering underneath, unwilling to load.

A young man then shone a flashlight toward the woods, saw a large white furry bipedal creature, fired a shot, and the creature stumbled then fled on two legs while others watched from the porch and trees were heard breaking.

Nearly two decades earlier, the witness was rowing back to a rocky campsite at the end of the lake near a creek at dusk with his dog after fishing for trout. The dog alerted toward shore, and the witness watched several small trees bend down in succession as if pulled from the top and snap back, progressing toward the campsite with no heavy footsteps but a low humming vibration that was felt more than heard. He rowed in to check, found no tracks, broken brush, or animal, only two old swan carcasses nearby, and spent a quiet night.
