Later that night her companion encountered something very large approaching on foot, prompting him to run inside and lock the doors, concluding it was not a bear.

The figure stood, leapt into the roadway, and ran across into dense cover while the witness watched. The witness stopped, turned off the vehicle, and listened briefly to heavy crashing footsteps receding into the woods before driving on and noticing a nearby campfire gathering.

Late at night at a farm home, the witness and a companion looked out the back door after the dogs barked then went quiet. They saw a large hair-covered creature near a mineral feeder that rose onto two legs, looked toward them, then walked upright toward a hay field while swinging its arms.
