After shining a flashlight in that direction, the witness saw two hairy bipedal figures cross a fence and then ran inside. Relatives then went outside, reportedly saw the larger figure up close, noticed odor and sounds, and the group found large tracks the next day.

Three backpackers camping at a remote stone cabin heard loud heavy bipedal footsteps circling their site for an extended period and retreated inside. After the sounds stopped outside a shuttered window, the shutters were opened to reveal a large dark hairy face with large eyes staring in from very close range. After a few seconds of mutual staring the creature left quickly and no further sounds were heard overnight. They left in the morning and found no tracks due to ice.

Over two nights a group of five gathered outside on the property for hide-and-seek and heard strange noises. The husband and a companion went to investigate and saw an entity 50 yards away hiding between two silos, noted for goldish reflective eyes, with a second smaller similar entity present on the last night. At sunset the witness and a companion were hiking along a creek when they heard singing coming from a culvert. They approached and looked through the culvert and saw the silhouettes of two ape-like creatures with glowing eyes crouched at the far end, swaying and humming. The witnesses left quickly so as not to disturb them.

The witness was climbing a steep ridge before dawn with hunting gear when his light revealed three or four sets of yellow eyes about 60 yards ahead. One set rose vertically and maintained eye contact as the group moved off across a hollow without showing deer traits like a white tail or snort. Shortly after, a heavy object landed near him, which he later interpreted as thrown, followed by guttural vocalizations unlike known wildlife and a skunky odor at a suspected bedding area.

The creature followed briefly then moved away making moaning sounds, and the witness saw a very large four-toed footprint while leaving.

The witness reports stopping a car on a wooded road at night to urinate and seeing an animal on all fours about 40 yards away that was first mistaken for a deer. The creature then stood on two legs, made a loud unfamiliar noise, and was viewed in the headlights as tall, hair-covered, and red-eyed. After the witness honked, it reportedly screamed again and ran into the trees.

In the morning the pair found a snapped tree, strong odor, widely spaced ground marks and a five-toed partial print, which the witness attributed to a large visitor.
