Walking in with lights to a shooting hut after being dropped off, the witness went too far toward the plot and heard a piercing scream likened to a woman in a slasher film. Looking up, the witness saw two eyes on a rear road as coyotes erupted, then retreated to lock inside the hut and later told the father nothing was seen.

The guest took his family camping including young children and a puppy. After being harassed by wild horses on a walk, they heard a growl near the tent at night and saw crouching yellow eyes, then after going to bed heard repeated hits on the same spot of the tent roof and his wife heard stick-banging while packing, prompting a nighttime departure.

At a rural house on the Oregon coast the household experienced repeated night howls, growls, talking-like sounds, dogs reacting, motion lights, a hand smudge, and large footprints in hard gravel. Young children repeatedly described dark hairy figures with flat noses and red eyes pawing or scratching at a bedroom window, motioning to come outside, and disappearing and reappearing.

In the spotlight two upright creatures were seen on the beach, one larger in the grass and one smaller below, which crouched and covered their faces. Rifles were aimed but not fired, and the figures later left into the bush, with further eye-shine, scenting sounds, and a tree bent as one departed.

Something answered with similar whoops and knocks and approached as they moved into the woods. The guest briefly saw a hair-covered biped moving between trees and later all four watched eyeshine peer from behind a tree before fleeing to the car and driving back to college.

At a habituator's site the guest heard apparent bipedal movement and later saw a beam of light, colored lights, and mist. Two small black beings with red glowing eyes emerged on the path and charged when spoken to. Shining a flashlight made them vanish, and the appearances repeated for hours over two nights.

The eye appeared pitch black then briefly glowed white-gray, apparently reflecting the coworker's headlamp, before a loud boiler boom startled the figure. It fled in three loud steps across gravel, grass and leaves that both men heard, left a sour wet-towel odor, and the elderly homeowner responded that local animals are friendly.
