The witness was home alone in the evening when something struck the locked front door hard. She heard a low grunting or growling sound and then saw a pair of slanted eyes and a hairy head staring at her from a few feet away in the dark. She watched the motionless figure for an estimated ten minutes. Police arrived hours later on foot and found nothing.

The witness and a young relative spent the night in a camp trailer near the family house. Over several hours at night they heard heavy bipedal footsteps circling the trailer, brushing and clawing sounds on the siding, door and ceiling vent, and later blows to the trailer. The witness reported a brief glimpse of a long shaggy finger-like shape through the vent screen, and said the sounds withdrew when a car approached and returned later.

The witness describes three years of repeated encounters after his family moved onto a wooded hillside property. Four ape-like animals repeatedly approached the trailers, peered in windows, vocalized at night, left tracks, damaged structures, and killed livestock. The father shot the largest animal in the shoulder near the pump house, after which the animals moved faster and more cautiously but continued the activity. Forestry and law-enforcement visitors reportedly told the father to stop shooting, and timber workers and well drillers also encountered the animals.

In 1904 near Sixes miners reported a wild man seen three times in three weeks. Two men heard something walk around and shake their cabin corner, heard a frightful noise, saw it walk away, shot and missed. Later a similar visit at dawn ended with the creature hurling a four-pound rock after being shot at.

The witness describes multiple strange events at her rural home while alone, including a strong sulfur sewage odor, shuffling sounds, a blocked bathroom window, disturbed trash, broken lights, a ringing doorbell with no one there, and something hitting the house. The guest and three companions camped several days in remote central Oregon to look into Bigfoot. They smelled a skunky BO odor, felt something brush tents, found large and human-sized barefoot prints, heard human-like grunts, found torn branches and an uprooted tree, had apples taken from high up with sticker skin peeled, and saw a bulky dark figure at the treeline captured as a blurry night-vision still. They left early due to bad weather.

Young children repeatedly described dark hairy figures with flat noses and red eyes pawing or scratching at a bedroom window, motioning to come outside, and disappearing and reappearing.
