The guest responded to sounds outside the same cabin property with his two sons. He heard two different sounds, walked trails through the woods toward them and pushed the presence off onto an adjoining lease. Horses that had huddled in a far corner returned to graze, and a small dog stopped barking from under the house once the area was cleared.

For almost every night over the next three months the witness returned to the same area to fish. He repeatedly heard hollers as something walked by and heard movement in brush behind the original encounter tree. When he caught fish he left them by the tree for it and then walked away.

While camped on BLM land near Badlands National Park, the couple heard distressed cows for hours and noticed one dog refuse to leave the truck. During a moonlit walk they lay down to look at stars, their dog barked, and they saw a very large black canine-like figure about sixty yards away with no eye shine that seemed to absorb flashlight beams while panting loudly. A second closer larger figure seen by the boyfriend flanked them, both followed the couple about a quarter mile back toward camp before disappearing, after which cows vocalized again.

After the witness's family left, friends with a small child moved into the house. The child would not use the stairs alone and was seen walking with one hand raised as if helped. She spoke of an imaginary friend and once handed a powered-off phoneless handset to her father saying the friend wanted to talk. Family history later linked the name to a relative found hanging on the property.

After moving into the grandfather's old house, the family experienced ongoing phenomena. Upstairs sounded like someone playing jacks with bouncing ball and metal pieces, with cold spots and feeling of being watched. Lights flickered and ceiling fans spun with switches off, stopping after occupants apologized for noise. A visitor searched the house without finding occupants who were present.

Co-workers on the same seismic job reported being followed out of the woods by something unseen. They said the presence paced them, stopping when they stopped and making noise as they moved, leaving them frightened. They radioed a bear alert but later said it was not a bear.
Vocalization in California
While sleeping in his van in Alabama Hills, the witness woke at 2:30 AM to bird-like sounds shifting to crickets, then a short wailing whistle. Something pressed against the van and shook it violently while he felt overwhelming dread, pressure, inability to move and hear. After it stopped he dressed, found no tracks, felt watched while leaving, and drove to a populated rest stop.
UFO sighting in Oregon
After returning to his mother's house, the witness went to bed but woke to see a bright light approaching across the fields and entering through the window to hover over him. He felt a warm paralyzing sensation and fled to his mother's bed. While lying there he saw a floating bull-skull-like vision and heard his sleeping mother make a bull-like sound before waking her.
Cryptid sighting
Home alone midday, the witness saw an old-man-like figure crawl from bushes into the backyard, sniff the air, and approach the house while making strange noises. He confronted it with an unloaded shotgun from the deck until it turned and crawled back into the brush on a trail.

After moving to a house backing to farmland and woods, the witness's girlfriend felt watched at sunset while the German Shepherd stared at the woodline. For about two weeks the dogs repeatedly froze, raised hair, barked viciously, ran between doors growling, and growled from a crate at night.

The next day further downstream, while catching crappie, they heard a large splash crossing the creek, then a large oak tree shook violently with no wind. They heard pacing on the far bank, low grumbling growls, and small rocks thrown toward the water until the father decided to leave.
Partial sighting in Tennessee
Over later visits to the same woods the witness and friends found a hair-covered shape curled like a stump, had a softball-sized rock thrown at their group, found a hung bait bucket punched open and emptied, felt hot breath and heard a grunt behind them with nothing seen, and found logs arranged like benches that gave an overwhelming feeling of dread. The witness also relayed a friend's solo report of something large jumping tree to tree with a shadow passing overhead.
Whoop
A friend took a companion to a high overlook area and was escorted down the mountain by multiple creatures. Upon reaching the parking lot, one gave a whoop that was answered by several more upslope. The account was also featured on a television show.
Vocalization in North Carolina
After moving to a house backing to a mountain, the witness heard a loud female-like yelling from up the mountain late at night. The next day his dog refused to continue up the trail. He found a cleaned small animal skull in the middle of the trail with unusual scat containing flowers. He reports ongoing strange night noises that residents leave alone.
Sasquatch sighting in Missouri
The witness's outdoorsman friend and a companion investigated an old cabin ruin in the woods and saw a large hairy bipedal creature dive into the ruins and peer back at them from behind cover. Frightened, they left while the creature stayed behind them, its extra footsteps audible whenever they stopped, until they were out of the area.
Man recalls adversarial encounter with an unknown creature near French Gulch
During midnight rounds at an isolated school compound, the witness crossed a suspension bridge and heard something raiding trash cans by the cookhouse. He threw rocks toward a large dark figure under the eaves, which stood erect, stepped onto the bridge, dodged thrown rocks, vaulted the bridge cables and fled upstream on two legs. He noted glowing eyes and a foul stench, then returned to his trailer without anyone else responding.

On several trips to the outhouse before bed two household members noticed surrounding sounds stopping and felt watched with neck hairs prickling, after which they stopped going out after dark.
Whoop near Clayton, Washington
Small dogs barked and hid inside while a cat vocalized back at whoops and screams, then the cat disappeared a few weeks later after which sounds and activity stopped.
Growl near Bothell/Woodinville, Washington
For about a week after the chase, the witness's dog sat by windows after dark growling as if seeing something while the woods stayed unnaturally quiet.

That night at the farm-sit property the witness was awakened, heard commotion from dogs, and let them out to find them sniffing in circles before calming down.
