They prepared to shoot, but one companion fled in panic, and the other two held fire because its posture looked manlike, then left to retrieve their friend.

A deer stood on the patio sofa close to the house shaking and quivering, which she interpreted as fleeing something in the woods. The witness and a companion camped late at night on a trail above a canyon. A tall hair-covered biped came up the trail, was startled on seeing the witness, hid briefly, then paced back and forth in front of the camp for over two hours. The guest, a delivery truck driver, was en route to a distribution center in York when he saw a large dark figure by a creek from a bridge. He stopped along with another driver to watch it, thinking it was a bear. The figure stood to about eight and a half feet, looked like a hairy human holding a dead goat or dog, grunted, slammed a fist into the water, then dropped to all fours and fled rapidly through water and woods. A state trooper who responded suggested a bear, which both witnesses rejected.

The guest's friend was at a Sundance fire when small beings played peekaboo around the horseshoe mound. They popped up on one side, scurried on little feet to the other side, and popped up again. They were described as tiny Indians with feathers, braids and moccasins.

A young boy was deer hunting alone in the wilderness when a large sasquatch appeared in front of him, roaring and tearing apart a stump. The witness reported mentally receiving threats while two more creatures flanked him. Years later he remained too traumatized to return to the site with a film crew.

The witness, then a 10-year-old boy, was catching reptiles in a dry creek bed behind his grandparents' rural property when a tall slender ape-like female appeared across the creek with an infant. He crouched and pretended to eat vegetation to avoid provoking her while they observed each other for several minutes. A taller darker male then emerged, bared his teeth and displayed aggressively, and the female positioned herself between the male and the boy. Both creatures then left into the brush, and the boy ran home and told his grandmother, who said she believed him.

Over three years after the main walk, the witness reports recurring being-watched feelings, crashing sounds, silence, dog reactions, chattering and screams, odors, thrown sticks and debris, and one eyeshine about 8 ft high.

Memory told of spying something large and hairy overturning rocks by the Brazos River
At age 12 or 13 while exploring alone along a cliff top, the witness heard low grunts and rocks rolling below. Looking over the edge, he saw a very large hair-covered creature crouched on two legs overturning large rocks with its arms and hands. Startled, he ran back to his group.

The witness was working alone overnight operating noisy machinery at a mountain job site in the rain. He heard impacts on a metal container, then saw a dark upright figure by the trees that crept toward him as rocks were thrown. He fled to his car, struggled to open a locked gate, then faced a much larger red-eyed figure that snapped a branch, vocalized loudly, and bluff-charged. He escaped in his car with damage to the vehicle.
Object throwing in Minnesota
Three youths playing with a Ouija board received answers and were told the respondent was a demon. After mockery, the board reportedly lifted and struck one youth, who then behaved aggressively and pursued the others. They fled to a pastor's church apartment, where two pastors brought him inside and performed an expulsion.
Paranormal encounter
The guest dreamed his deceased stepbrother appeared beside a car and embraced him, but the hug felt icy and evil. He rejected the figure and chased it from a house, then woke panicked. While awake he felt the same cold presence paralyze him on the bed until he whispered for help and it left.

Before vocal or tree-breaking contact, crows were seen moving as if following something and an owl-like call was heard that seemed not to be an owl.
Scream near Payson, Arizona
The witness camped with four others and dogs near a stream. During the day they heard distant screams and at night saw faint red, green, blue and white lights moving down a hill. They heard single and multi-note whistles from multiple directions closing in, heard movement in the stream and road, saw a black mass run through brush, and left hurriedly after a whistle was answered back.

After returning to the house, the guest heard heavy walking in the treeline and saw a very large hairy biped about 30 yards away. He describes it as jet black with shorter hair, a bare face, and enormous chest and shoulders. It took a step with arm swing and hid behind three oaks, peeking out until the friend also glimpsed it.
Odor in Alabama
From a blind in the afternoon the witness shot a doe that ran into the tree line. Following blood and a strong gut-like stench that grew stronger, the witness found the deer on its side with the body undulating and something large behind it. After a loud heavy exhalation, the witness yielded the deer and left.
