The witness was camping and stepped a short distance from the tent at night. In very dark conditions the witness felt watched and noticed a strong unfamiliar odor, then ran back to the tent. From the tent the witness heard large heavy footsteps and brush crashing as something left the campsite.

The witness and two relatives walked barefoot down a road near their campsite late at night to listen for sasquatch. They repeatedly heard crunching and twig-breaking sounds in the bushes that stopped when they stopped. When the witness shone a small flashlight into the bushes, they saw two large green eyes 20-30 feet away that then ducked down out of sight; the companions did not see the eyes.

He later heard repeating groups of three heavy knocks and was shadowed along the fence for over an hour without ever seeing the source, leaving him and the dogs shaken.

He reportedly saw eyes staring down at him off the trail, shouted, then fired all six rounds at close range before fleeing in fear. Later the reporter heard a single very loud prolonged scream from that area followed by total forest silence, and a brief morning search found almost no blood and no clear prints.

The witness was camping with a scout group at Loon Lake when two groups of loud, low howl-like calls were heard from a distance through the forest in the early morning. After the property owner and another man drove away, two unseen figures on the ridge behind the cabin howled back and forth for six to eight hours whenever the guest went outside. The howling stopped abruptly when vehicles returned. The guest believed the sounds were Bigfoot.

About 15 minutes after the last call, coyotes were heard from several directions and no further similar sounds occurred.

The witness was camped alone beside the Buffalo River on a solo turkey hunt. At about 4:30 a.m. while eating breakfast at camp, the witness heard a loud whoop-like call from the mountainside to the southwest, followed within two seconds by an even louder similar call from across the river to the northwest. The witness judged the second sound was not an echo and interpreted the two calls as two Sasquatches communicating from roughly one-quarter to one-third mile away.
