The witness reported seeing a tall, large creature with yellow eyes watching her companion as he placed puppies in a fenced pen on 8 October 2006. She moved her young child to the porch while her companion remained unaware he was being observed. Later that night her companion encountered something very large approaching on foot, prompting him to run inside and lock the doors, concluding it was not a bear.

During bow season last year, the witness walked on a friend's Michigan property to a swampy end of a small lake and sat down. A loud, eerie, almost human-like scream came from within about 50 yards through heavy vegetation and trees. Immediately after, the witness heard sounds like huge rocks being thrown into the lake and left the area quickly.

The witness was bow hunting for deer from a tree stand in the morning and then walked out through a dry lake/river bed. While walking below a brushy shelf, he heard grunting and growling from the tree line and observed trees being shaken. The unseen animal kept pace with him as he hurried away, and he never saw what made the sounds.

Two companions were sitting at the edge of a harvested field at night making rabbit distress sounds to call coyotes. After hearing twigs snap, they saw a large dark man-like figure showing its upper torso and glowing eyes on a small hill at the treeline that did not move or speak. They returned to camp to confirm their companions were still there, retrieved a shotgun for safety, but the figure was gone when they went back.

The witness was night fishing with two companions by a fire on a riverbank. After hearing an unusual noise from across the river, the witness saw a very large, hairy figure moving in the dark. When a flashlight was shone on it, the figure quickly disappeared into the woods and was not seen again that night.

The witness reports hearing very loud recurring screams and hoot-like sounds coming from canyons near a relative's home in northern Utah over several years, first paying attention to them while camping overnight with a young relative. The sounds are described as fierce, deep, growling and primate-like with a low-frequency component, with calls lasting up to about 15 seconds in series of five or six, sometimes followed by whoops, heard at dusk or night from a mile or so away. Other family members are reported to have heard the same vocalizations over about ten years. The witness, described as a hunter familiar with native animal sounds, found alleged bigfoot recordings similar but not exactly the same.

The witness and a companion were hunting and camping in the mountains of northern New Mexico. On the evening of Oct 2 the witness heard a scream/howl while returning to camp, while the companion heard stick-like knocks near camp. The next morning the witness heard the scream/howl again in the same area and the companion again heard knocks from about 200 yards away.

The witness reports walking home alone at night on a rural dirt road when she startled a large creature near a shed. She heard a loud deep breath and grunt and felt the ground shake as the dark, muscular figure rose into a crouched gorilla-like posture about 20 feet away. The figure stared and turned its head to watch her as she moved to the far side of the road and walked quickly home while praying without running.

After dark they saw red eyeshine of three creatures, then a face at the window that incapacitated one man. The witness fired through the wall, endured hours of pressure, screams, circling, and a huge silhouette, then escaped at daylight under rock throws and rifle fire that did not stop the creatures.

The guest with his uncle and cousin boated far upriver to prospect for gold and stayed in a tiny plywood shack. After dark they saw three sets of red eyeshine, then a face staring through a small window, prompting shotgun shots through the wall. Through the night they endured screams, shaking of the shack, circling footsteps, a huge light-absorbing silhouette, and pellet-like impacts. At dawn while fleeing to the skiff a basketball-sized rock narrowly missed the guest and he fired a rifle center-mass with no effect before they escaped by boat.

The witness and his wife parked along Highway 128 and walked about 150 yards into redwood forest on a trail. They reported feeling watched and feeling then hearing a low, nearly inaudible growl-grunt that grew louder over about a minute. Unable to see anything or tell the direction in dense woods, they became frightened and ran back to their car.

The witness was in bed with the window open and heard woman-like screaming before falling asleep. Around 1 to 2 a.m. the witness woke to a neighbor's dog barking at something on the south side of the house, then heard a man-like ahhh that turned into a very low guttural growl, after which the dog stopped barking. The witness froze, later closed the window, and police were called. The next day the witness found a fetal-shaped depression about seven feet long in tall yellow grass where the sound came from.

The witness and a relative were hiking toward a high alpine lake when they heard a loud, close, short scream described as deep in tone. The witness stated the sound was unlike anything heard before in a lifetime in the woods and did not resemble a bear or cougar. The witness compared the sound to a gorilla preparing to charge. Both hikers reportedly experienced goose bumps upon hearing it.

Two forestry workers measuring trees heard log-ripping and heavy footstep sounds, then had a large rotten root chunk and a smaller stick thrown toward them from an unseen source. One worker walked toward the direction of the throws and saw a tall, broad, long-haired figure standing motionless with its back turned. The witness returned to the coworker without disclosing the sighting and they finished quickly and left.

Two hunters resting on a brush pile during an archery moose hunt heard whooping vocalizations and chest-beating sounds likened to a zoo gorilla for about an hour. They did not see the source and did not investigate because they were focused on a nearby moose and darkness fell. A young bull moose in the area acted frightened and refused to approach.
