Sasquatch sighting in Tennessee (2014)
A bow hunter sat in a tree stand at dawn in thick fog and heard repeated owl-like hoots and screeches he believed were mimicked. He then felt his boot grabbed and looked down to see a huge Sasquatch reaching 20 feet up. The creature released his boot, walked away down the trail, and the woods went silent while the witness remained in shock for hours.

In 2012 the witness took his son to Myakka State Park. They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. Park staff directed them to a biologist who dismissed it without viewing the drawing.

A driver stopped to help two motorists whose car had left the road after swerving to avoid a large hairy creature chasing a deer across the road. While fetching a rope from his truck to pull their car out, he walked directly into the creature standing behind his truck. He noted a foul smell, red eyes, and a low growl before it walked to the woods edge and then into the woods. He then helped move the car and continued his trip, shaken by the encounter.

In the late 1970s to early 1980s, residents around the Big Muddy River reported a foul-smelling, hairy hominid-like creature. Witnesses described seeing and hearing it near the river and finding footprints, with size and color accounts varying. At the bottom of the creekbed they looked toward the sounds and saw a roughly seven-foot-tall hair-covered figure whose face they could not discern. Both fled home in fear and said the figure did not follow them.

About fifteen people watched a huge spherical object descend over a pasture. Two tall hairy bipeds with glowing green eyes appeared by a fence while a witness fired tracers and live rounds with no effect, then the object vanished and responders found a large glowing area on the ground.

A former law enforcement officer told two missionaries that in 1971 he took part in an agency-directed helicopter operation to kill Sasquatch living in a canyon in the Dakotas. Two smaller helicopters drove the animals while his crew photographed a female and a youngster from the air, recorded audio, then shot the youngster in the head and shot the female point-blank in the chest from a rope ladder. The female screamed and fled up the canyon with an unknown fate, while the youngster's body was bagged, netted under a helicopter and flown out. The officer said he kept the photos and cassette hidden and had told no one else.

An ailing homeowner told two visiting missionaries about a directed operation in the Dakotas in 1971 when he served as a sheriff's officer. From helicopters, crews pushed creatures out of a canyon toward a bait station, photographed them, and shot a female and her young. The narrator kept hidden photos and an audio cassette documenting the shooting and the female's scream.

A group riding in a bus in the 1970s heard sounds like a lion roaring, then a creature jumped onto the hood and looked through the large front window at the passengers. The front passenger saw it grin and show its teeth before it jumped off with enough force to shake the bus. The witness described it as six to six and a half feet tall, skinny, and intermediate between a chimpanzee and a person.

A group on a musky fishing trip in Canada heard loud roars from the woods that grew closer. Two giant black beasts emerged fighting, tumbling down the bank into shallow water, slapping, grappling and biting. One prevailed and left into the woods while the other lay motionless before later disappearing.

The witness's father and a companion were fishing at Chambers Creek when a large hairy creature estimated at eight to ten feet tall appeared before them and roared while displaying its arms. Frightened, the two men ran to the truck and drove back to town. The account notes the creature was reportedly seen by others afterward.

The guest relayed an older brother's account from years earlier of walking back from a store when a hairy man stepped out of the woods. The figure stopped in front of him, looked him over, grunted, and continued into the woods. The brother reportedly told the story for the rest of his life.

An elderly mail carrier told the witness he was returning by horse and buggy from a dam community in the 1940s when a tall hair-covered wild man came from the bush screaming. His horse bolted and the creature ran alongside the wagon. He said he kept his head down and pretended not to see or hear it, which he believed saved him.
