As relayed by the elder, a friend moving sheep was in the open when six to seven inch rocks were thrown at his feet and toward him and his horse. He looked up to see something standing atop a cliff about five hundred feet away. After the horse reacted, it laughed at him.
Sasquatch sighting in Maine
Four young hikers ascending the backside of a mountain sensed something following, then saw a small ape-like figure peeking from trees. After two hikers fled and the others followed, the creature circled them, vocalized, beat the ground and threw sticks before leaving when shouted at.

The witness and companion heard whoops coming from two different positions replying to each other.

The next morning the witnesses heard twice from camp a falling-tree crashing sound but did not look for downed trees.
Property disturbance
A woman living in a small cabin with her daughter reported chickens disappearing, gathered eggs carried off and smashed, and security floodlights repeatedly smashed beyond the guest's reach. Her hog dogs stopped hunting and barking, and a small dog was grabbed and injured near a brush pile before she fired a rifle and heard an evil scream. The guest also recorded chimp-like sounds, and activity eased when her husband worked locally but resumed when he worked nights.

The witness's father and a co-worker heard a loud breaking-limb snap that frightened them enough to leave the area.

On a later night the daughter was awakened by heavy footsteps and saw the head and shoulders of a large dark creature pass between the house and clothes lines.

Small dogs barked and hid inside while a cat vocalized back at whoops and screams, then the cat disappeared a few weeks later after which sounds and activity stopped.
