Growl near Dorking, England (2016)
Two brothers waiting outside an abandoned tunnel with dogs heard a loud roar from the trees and something very large breaking branches for about ten minutes. They froze, hearing padding in undergrowth without ever seeing it. Days later they found a very large footprint about twenty inches long.

While returning to a car in deep snow the witness heard branch snapping and exchanged a whistle for loud knocks, reporting feeling unable to move before leaving.
