While heading back they heard a growl, whoops and howls from multiple directions and felt they were being watched. The witness attempted a phone audio recording but it did not capture the sounds clearly.

They observed a large upright creature crossing a road on thermal, approaching to about 90 feet, then fleeing into a thicket where facial details were seen. The witness parked below the snow line to glass timber strips while scouting elk before season. Over an extended period around noon, repeated loud knocks were heard from varying directions and distances, first alone and later with a companion. Later three quick rock-like clacks were heard behind the witness followed by a faint wood knock, after which the area went quiet and the witness left.

While house sitting at a wooded rural property, the witness heard strange loud howls about 20 minutes before sunset and again around sunset. She recorded the later vocalization on her cell phone at 8:13 p.m. The recording was later enhanced and reviewed by specialists who ruled out common animals.

The witness was camping with friends for a bachelor party on a private property near a river. Shortly after going to sleep in a large tall tent, he heard and felt heavy footsteps paired with growling approaching. He looked up through the open tent top and saw a very large face staring down at him that showed shock then anger and growled before stomping away through camp past another camper's van and down a trail.

Two nights later she heard wood-on-tree knocks and a very deep growl near the road, then later that night heard a large rock strike the house, heavy thumps in dirt, and tree-knocking from the porch couch where she stayed awake until daylight. She believes two young Sasquatch were attracted by earlier rock-throwing play with her grandson.

The witness and three companions were night-fishing for catfish when they heard a series of wood knocks from both sides of the creek, closing to within 30 yards. They packed up to leave but heard four loud knocks near their parked vehicle before driving away. They later returned the same night to try to record further knocks on video.

Late at night the witness sat alone on a back patio watching a meteor shower. From a distance to the south he heard two loud whoop-like vocalizations he had never heard before. A couple parked off a dirt road in a Florida state reserve and walked around, turning back from a lower swampy area. After returning to a dirt path, they heard loud banging like hitting trees that alternated back and forth between two directions. They listened briefly, could not explain the purpose, then walked back to the car and left.

Two companions sat in a parked car in Mohican State Park after jokingly making whoop calls, then heard two tree knocks from a steep wooded slope close by. They moved to a more open picnic area where birds grew loud then suddenly stopped, a rock tumbled down a cliff, and the witness saw the left foot, leg and hip of a muscular, short black-haired animal slip behind a tree before they left.

While alone at the pool the witness saw a reddish-brown head and shoulder at a distance, then heard whistles, knocks and deep grunts over several days. Days later she looked up to see a very tall hairy figure standing at the woods edge near the yard. She experienced fog and missing time while getting out of the pool and returning to the house.
Family hears loud wood knocks at Deer Lakes outside Lake City
On June 12, 2021, the witness family stopped at Upper Mill Pond to fish and watched a moose and calves from their truck. They heard an estimated 8-10 wood knocks from the west tree line from at least three different positions while vehicles came and went. The witness considered people in the woods as possible but later interpreted the sounds as Bigfoot-related after hearing another knock that night at a stargazing stop.

The witness woke early in the morning and went to the bathroom with windows open. She heard a loud, drawn-out deep vibrating howl coming from the mountains behind the house that she did not recognize as any known animal or human. Afterwards the area fell completely silent with no dogs or crickets, and she remained awake listening for more sounds.

The witness was sleeping in a travel trailer at a campground when an unknown sound woke him around 1 a.m. during quiet hours. After lying back down he sat up by an open window and heard two loud, distant howls that seemed to fill the forest valley and lacked clear direction. He felt the depth, breadth and penetrating quality of the sound could not have been produced by a human.
Possible Vocalizations Near Silver Lake
The witness was sleeping with a window open at home near Silver Lake when prolonged vocalizations were heard from the southeast side of the lake late at night. The sounds were described as partly primate-like and partly human-like and seemed like communication between individuals. The witness's dog reacted fearfully, and no visual contact was reported.

The couple returned to the same road to measure the 2003 crossing and hike all day. They smelled strong urine and rotten-meat odors, found odd stacked limbs and other tree breaks, and watched a large limb fly over a cliff into the creek. Through binoculars the witness saw a black-furred being from waist up behind a tree staring back until it blinked, hid, reappeared, and later vanished by bending down. The husband saw an arm, they heard knocks, a whoop and running, and later found a large bare footprint in a creek bank and an impression behind a tree.
Cabin renters report wood knocks and rock throwing near Leavenworth
The witness and her husband stayed at a rental cabin near Leavenworth. Over two nights they heard single loud wood knocks in the evening, including knocks heard from the hot tub area and near their car. Later at night rocks struck the exterior bedroom walls, and the next morning the witness found two rocks lying on the soil. No animal or person was seen causing the sounds.

On one night while inside the house, the witness heard chattering and grunting right outside the door that stopped when the door was opened. The sounds were unfamiliar and recurred close to the home.
