After a few months all regular wildlife stopped visiting, and motion cameras began triggering nightly around 10-11 with nothing visible but low growls and a distant siren-like scream that set dogs barking. They also found footprints with toe ridges, fresh tree breaks, bent and intertwined trees, and a semi-circular stacked-log structure of large broken trees behind the property.

About an hour later the witness returned with older female relatives and saw a different-colored hairy leg and foot watching them from behind trees near the road.

Later they recorded tapping sounds on the vehicle, saw a possible light on night vision, and heard distant vocalizations. Around early morning two members heard a deep growl very close to the vehicle and retreated inside.
