The witness was sleeping in a motorhome on Vancouver Island when something large violently rocked the vehicle. He saw a very hairy bipedal creature standing outside the window, then ran outside and smelled a strong musky odor like dead fish. He heard its footsteps stop nearby in the dark and retreated inside without seeing it again.

They heard branches breaking, movement across a road toward a power line trail, and a loud howl they did not recognize. They heard a second much fainter howl later suggesting great distance covered.

About a week later the witness heard unidentified noises, saw limb-like shapes moving into thicker woods, watched small trees shake, and had increasingly larger rocks thrown toward them until fleeing.
Wood knock
The witness reports hearing pounding sounds from woods northeast of the home on about six occasions during the five years living there.

Three people toured a remote site and heard a wood knock, then heard loud crashing and footsteps rushing toward them. They retreated and a light stopped the approach about ten feet away before it turned and walked off. The next day they found medium and very large tracks by a broken leaning tree.

While gathered with family for fireworks around a bonfire, the group heard a horrible scream from the woods. An older sibling dismissed it as a cat. The witness recalled it as the only other strange occurrence at the property besides the fence sighting.

Years before the 2015 sighting, the witness and his brother stood outside their farmhouse at night listening to something moving through the woods between houses. They heard a loud howl they did not recognize as coyote, fox, or bobcat. They tracked the movement by breaking branches across a road to a power line trail, then heard a second much fainter howl from far away.

As a boy the witness heard sounds while coon hunting with a relative in the river bottoms, was told something followed them, and relatives left skinned carcasses for it.
Footsteps near Holton Lake, Michigan
At age sixteen while hunting with his uncle near Holton Lake, the witness walked alone toward his stand and heard heavy footsteps pacing him from a field to his right. The steps did not match his own and were followed by a sniffling sound. He ran to his stand, climbed up, and sat in fear until sunrise without seeing anything.
Chatter near Bemidji, Minnesota
About a month later while staying in a detached garage loft near Bemidji for tree work, the witness lay in bed with the window open and heard gibberish-like chatter outside. He stayed on the phone with a friend until the chatter stopped a couple hours later and had no further activity there.

About a week later the witness had a cousin staying to help clean the mostly empty house. While sitting upstairs they heard a door open and slow individual footsteps coming up from the basement area, which then stopped and quickly moved back down. Both left the house.
Whistle
The witness reported over 30 sightings or encounters in northern Wisconsin beginning in fall 2000 and continuing, including up to four at the cabin at a time and creatures following, whistling and knocking while hunting.
Howl in Kentucky
While staying with his grandparents as a child, the guest sat on the porch at night with his grandmother listening for birds. They heard a long siren-like howl far off echoing through the hills. The grandmother suggested it was probably a mountain lion.

As a young child the guest went with his grandfather just before daylight to check fishing lines down a dirt path to a river bottom. The woods were unusually quiet and there was a dead-fish-like smell. The grandfather stopped the child, they heard trees and limbs breaking and heavy footsteps on the opposite hill, then turned around and left without seeing anything.
Rock throwing in Washington
The witness was fishing alone early in the morning at a remote mountain lake. Large rocks were thrown toward the witness from the treeline and growls similar to the earlier lake incident were heard for 10-15 minutes. Perceiving it as a warning to leave, the witness packed up and left and has not returned alone.
Scream in Louisiana
The witness went squirrel hunting with the stepfather in Middle Fort Bottom toward dusk. Something paralleled them in the woods, stopping when they stopped. When they stopped once, something nearby gave a very loud scream described like a tornado siren mixed with a distressed cow, and it continued to follow them until they reached the car.

At night with windows open, the witness heard heavy footsteps breaking limbs and crunching leaves approach the bedroom window, then loud breathing in and out. The witness was paralyzed with fear until the mother pulled the witness from bed. After something struck the back of the house hard, the witness, mother, and grandmother saw a huge brown-haired form blocking the dining room window before it moved sideways toward the bedroom.
