The guest and family were sleeping at a remote mountain cabin when they heard a high-pitched scream likened to a woman being assaulted. They turned lights on and stayed inside. Next day they learned everyone across the camp heard it near their own cabins, leading to belief multiple creatures circled the camp.

Around 1:35 am tent occupants woke to a raccoon on the table and heard movement around camp while the camper occupant heard something large walking in woods behind camp that left after the raccoon was scared off.

Vocalization near Farmington
The guest says during a night DNA-study camp he did call blasts and got tapping responses from cover about fifteen feet away. He and a teammate followed movement along a boggy stream and bridge. A large furry silhouette mimicked his steps and approached to about seven feet, showing facial highlights in moonlight. Next day they found a grass impression larger than his size-sixteen shoe.
Sasquatch sighting
The caller says he took a friend to a state park to show a tree structure. After hearing a loud call they drove toward it and saw two ape-like black-furred beings, one of which he believed was female. His friend was shaken and never the same.
Vocalization
The caller says while camping alone a few miles in on a full harvest moon night the woods went silent and he smelled a musty odor. He heard grunting and tree knocks, then a log was thrown over his tent. Next day he found a log that had not been there.
Sasquatch sighting
The caller says at age seven he was sent to get an item from the side of the house. He looked up and saw a creature grunting at him. He did not understand what it was at the time but later identified it as a Sasquatch.
Footsteps near Hazelhurst, Wisconsin
A year later the witness heard loud heavy footsteps and branch snapping followed by high-pitched squeals from the shore while in a boat with a companion.
Unidentified sound near Morton, Washington
Several years before the interview, the guest was bass fishing with a club partner on a lake off Highway 12. For about 45 minutes they heard heavy branch-breaking and something moving along the shore paralleling their boat from about 20 yards offshore. His partner dismissed it as elk, but the size and single-animal character stuck in his mind and rekindled his interest in the subject.
Scream in California
After sitting down in a tree stand, the hunter heard an intense low roar from behind that he could not see because of tree limbs. About fifteen minutes later a second similar roar came from the front left. He waited about an hour before leaving for his vehicle and never used a tree stand again.
Growl in California
While using a hilltop drive tactic to move deer toward waiting hunters, the caller was growled at. No creature was seen in this incident. It was one of several experiences in the same small hunting zone.

A relative reports having heard unfamiliar animal calls on another occasion.

The writer spent time hunting in swampy river bottoms and repeatedly sensed something moving with him but never saw anything or found tracks.
Unidentified sound in Texas
While setting up a deer stand with his father and son about 100 yards from the truck, the witness heard a huge gyro-like startup sound rise to a high-pitched hum then stop. Returning to the truck they found precise hieroglyphic-like marks in the dust and a small handprint with very long fingers on the door edge. Nearby in an acre-sized opening they found three equally spaced triangle-arranged ground indentations.
Footsteps in Texas
While walking in the woods on their North Texas property, the witness says on a couple of occasions something moved parallel to the group. The sounds stopped when they stopped, taking one or two extra steps. The family could not see what was making the noise.
