The driver broke down on a rainy highway and was working in the back of a tall cargo van. A snorting sound came from outside, and a large hairy face appeared inches away in the open door. The creature vibrated the van with a loud growl, reacted to a pistol, then left. Lightning revealed two more figures nearby, and the driver fired and fled to town.

The guest describes taking six people on an expedition campfire by a pond where knocks and rock splashes were heard. When he walked away leaving five, five knocks sounded; when his partner left leaving four, four knocks sounded in cadence. When both returned so six were together again, six knocks sounded, which he interprets as counting.
Scream in Wisconsin
The witness and a companion were dropped off for a multi-day navigation and survival exercise in northern Wisconsin and camped behind a pond. While standing at the shelter in the late afternoon, something on a low ledge behind camp let out a long loud scream that ended high-pitched. The two grabbed pistols, rushed the slope, and found nothing visible despite clear viewing conditions. They spent an uneasy night and left before daylight.

The witness and a companion were walking in the morning when a loud growl approached to close range, prompting the witness to draw a pistol and stand guard before leaving.
Sasquatch sighting in Wisconsin
While driving slowly through woods to shine deer fields with friends, the witness noticed orange-red eyes following the truck and made out a tall body shape. When the spotlight was on it froze, but when off it approached and could be heard walking. Deer in the field stared toward the woods and throwing sounds were heard before the group left.

Around 6 a.m. the witness heard a huge crash, snap and thumping sounds near his apple orchard. He left and later searched the area, finding a wide boxy footprint with toe prints and additional prints. His wife later found four apple-smelling scat piles in a row.

Sitting on his deck near dusk, the witness heard a seriously guttural sound followed by a huge limb crashing and tearing apart. He then heard indistinct talking that he could not understand. He went inside rather than confront it.

While mushroom hunting with his mother the witness crossed a creek and found a single tiny human-like footprint in a wash. No other prints appeared after extended tracking, while crashing sounds moved away through woods, which he interpreted as something carrying off a young one.

The guest recalls a night when several armed men waited on the farmhouse roof. After hours they heard a dog yelp, saw eyeshine and heard a bone chilling growl, then fired dozens of shots with deer slugs. Men fell off the roof and the ladder was kicked, and next day a gutted dog carcass with no blood was found where the creature had been.

After hearing loud whistles, the witness reached into the thicket, touched hair, and saw a large creature squatted in the bush showing its side, shoulder and leg with knee near eye level. He froze, then dropped his bowl and ran home.
