The witness returned on a Sunday afternoon to a wooded creek confluence where large tracks had been found days earlier. While approaching, something large moved alongside through the woods breaking branches, and the witness found large footprints including a tiny print in one heel. The witness then heard a large splash in the creek followed by paired guttural growls that stopped after the witness whooped, and later described seeing a large hairy figure peeking from behind a tree across the creek.

The witness returned to the site of a large footprint found the previous day to take photographs. He banged sticks together for about ten minutes to try to provoke a response.
