The witness and a companion walked night trails and noticed a stationary bright light over a ridge. They then heard bipedal footsteps from an embankment, felt watched, and smelled a skunk-like odor. While leaving across the bridge they heard prolonged crying/calling vocalizations that continued to the trailhead. The witness later concluded the sounds matched Bigfoot recordings found online.

Two witnesses were on the back deck of a vacation cabin at night with a small leashed dog when they heard a loud grunting/growling sound from bushes about 60 feet away. The dog was alert and barking at the bushes. Frightened, both people went back inside the house.

The witness reported ongoing activity near a forested home beginning in early spring 2013. During an initial walk in pines, he heard an extremely loud knock that frightened him and later heard whistles from the woods. He also reported finding multiple large and small track sets. A group walking back to a cottage late at night on a dirt road through dense woods heard something large paralleling them. They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.

Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.
Odor in Michigan (1977)
The guest relayed his father's account of a night when the family was home while the grandfather was away hauling freight. After a foul odor and prolonged barking by the guard dog, a long loud vocalization was heard, the dog was apparently dragged from under the chicken-coop camper, and three household members separately reported red eyes staring through windows. By morning the dog was dead and mutilated, all chickens were gone with feathers and footprints scattered, and the coop hatch had been opened from underneath.

Sitting on the deck around 5:30 in the morning, the witness heard a large-lunged wailing sound then branches scraping the barn and a large presence the dog fled from. Later that morning his brother found gigantic footprints by the mailbox and his father tracked 18-inch prints going north to the neighbor's then back south to the barn, suggesting something had watched him.
