Two fishermen hear possible vocalizations then find footprints west of Warren
Two coworkers arrived at a creek to fish before dawn after a night shift. Shortly after getting out of the car they heard a loud scream and strange yell-like sound from ahead, followed by something moving through brush. After fishing until daylight they walked the creek and found two large barefoot-like prints in a sandbar near disturbed mussels, leading up an embankment into dense thorns.
Man has close encounter very near the Grand River State Game Preserve
The witness was exploring woods in the morning after hearing activity in the brush and climbed a small knoll for a better view. At close range he saw a creature kneeling on one knee that stood and stared at him before walking into dense woods and looking back once. He attempted to follow with an audio recorder but only heard uncertain sounds in the brush and eventually lost his pack and left as darkness approached.

While home alone with windows open, the witness heard a very loud deep moaning sigh from across the farm field that lasted about twenty seconds. It filled the surroundings and caused her to stop and hold her breath until it ended.
