The witness was fishing while wading a creek in the evening when nearby geese suddenly fled. He then heard a loud crash and heavy bipedal steps from across the creek and saw a wide, dark-brown human-like silhouette in the trees. He shouted at it, it backed away silently into foliage, and he left the area shaken.
