Likely sasquatch knocks heard in Yellow River Water Management area NW of Crestview
The witness and two companions were sitting quietly listening for hogs in dense pine woods near a river and swamp when they heard a limb snap and saw a bird fly off. Minutes later they heard two sequences of three very loud knocks from different estimated distances. Thinking the sounds might be other hunters, they walked back to the road but saw no other vehicles.

A couple hunting deer from brush heard a loud crunch and saw a tall hairy man-like figure watching them from behind a tree about 60-80 yards away. After briefly looking at each other, they found it had slipped out of view. Minutes later they heard another crunch and glimpsed the same figure heading toward thicker brush near a creek bottom, shortly after which two does hurried past as if fleeing.

The witness and four companions were parked on a dirt road at dusk trying to find a way out of the area. They heard a commotion in nearby woods suggesting something large approaching. As it got closer they saw a large upright humanoid form that did not respond to yelling, and all five fled in panic.
Kayaker experiences frightening incidents while traveling down Yellow River
While kayaking a long stretch of river in northwest Florida near dusk, the witness heard moaning to yelling sounds and smelled a strong musky odor. Rocks were thrown from the treeline toward the water and near the kayak, while sticks and trees were heard breaking. The witness also heard coyotes and loud unidentified sounds suggesting animals fighting, felt followed for much of the trip, and never saw the source.
