Camper is surprised to see a face looking back at him from a ravine near TN/NC border SE of Tellico Plains
The witness was hiking with an expedition group near an old building and went behind it to look for sign. About 50 yards away the witness saw a dark shape that resolved into a face with heavy brow, broad nose, dark hair and dark eyes that turned to the side and back before disappearing. Afterward the witness heard whistles and a low guttural sound, felt unwelcome and unwell, waited, then later sketched what was seen.
