Possible intimidation/interaction heard by couple on two occasions in route to Fort Bragg
The witness and his wife parked along Highway 128 and walked about 150 yards into redwood forest on a trail. They reported feeling watched and feeling then hearing a low, nearly inaudible growl-grunt that grew louder over about a minute. Unable to see anything or tell the direction in dense woods, they became frightened and ran back to their car.
Family hears unusual calls
The witness was walking a dog on a residential hillside after dark when an unfamiliar loud howling/yelling sound was heard repeating at intervals. The witness brought a spouse outside to listen, noting that no local dogs were barking at first. After a time a dog began barking and the unfamiliar sound stopped and did not return that night.

The witness was sleeping in a sleeping bag on a river bank with companions when she woke to bipedal footsteps on a ledge above. A large figure stood behind willow canes about 10 feet away, yelling with speech-like inflection while stomping, shaking vegetation, and giving off a skunk-like odor. After a few minutes the figure left without the witness seeing or hearing its departure, and she stayed awake until morning.

The witness and a companion were at a house overlooking a river when they heard loud crashing from the forest across the river. They then heard vocalizations that began as grunting and a deep loud moo-like sound and rose into a very loud high-pitched scream. After vocalizing, the unseen source moved rapidly inland through the forest until its footsteps could no longer be heard. The witness concluded the sounds were made by a Bigfoot, noting the speed and distance covered did not match a cow.

The witness stayed behind from dinner with a bloody nose and, while at a restroom, heard slow footsteps moving in brush hidden by high bushes. After telling other campers at dinner, the group returned and found large manlike footprints in hard ground. When footsteps were heard again, the witness and another camper chased the source uphill, heard it running away, and found only toe-prints.

The witness, his mother, younger brother, and dog were hiking a trail while camping in a Mendocino County state park. They heard something moving parallel to them, then heard loud wooden knocks followed by a loud guttural huff from near a tree. Without seeing the source, they ran back to camp.

The witness was lying in a tent at night in woods near Mendocino when loud stomping and crashing of small trees was heard about fifty yards away. The sounds lasted about 30 seconds and were interpreted as a biped moving quickly, apparently pursued by barking dogs. After the crashing stopped, a dog was heard yelping as if badly injured, then silence fell. The next morning the witness found broken vegetation but no clear sign of its cause and moved camp.
